Yes it will switch to where it gets announced when it happens, real time, rather than when Maistro pulls the string to all the puppets in other words. It’s really a shame that “journalists/reporters” don’t know their own power. Switch the narrative. Stick together on outing info with as much honor as you do now withholding info and you become a real reporter. The factories “need” you and until that is learned you’ll remain under their thumb and under the fear of being “blackballed”.

DB said on his show last night he was told by someone he trusts and would know that the Eli to KTM deal is a done deal now.

LOL you think Eli would want to get on Showa? And also the Lawrence Circus? He just left the Deegan Circus at Yami.
Jeez, I hope not. The more I thought about it the cooler that Tomac+Ducati combo became.
Also, how the hell can KTM even afford top tier talent at a time like this?
KTM NA..
So Chase to Kawi confirmed then.
Now I REALLY want to be at Anaheim 1 next year!!
This just dropped. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASxyz_etXSw
That man is FIRED UP.
Jett is going to come in to MX just hoping for some podiums for the first few rounds, as he is getting back on the bike very early. Webb won't be a factor, Hunter and Prado need to build back up as well I'd say. Honestly, it's going to be Sexton vs Tomac for these first couple rounds and I'm picking Tomac every time those two race each other.
Chase beat Eli 10 of 24 motos in 22 when they battled and one of them is coming off an outdoor title and the other is coming off consecutive injuries. I'll take your bet!
Shots fired!
If I am Jett or Chase and just watched that interview I would be like "Oh.........fuck", followed by a big SIGH and perhaps a look out the nearest window into the distance. 😀
We won't know anything performance wise until the racing starts. There is no substitute for the intensity of racing, that benefit goes to Chase. I'm not betting against Eli though!
Guess we can scratch off the retire option.
Also been what ten weeks since Eli raced? I’m not sure his fitness is going to be 100% there at the end of motos until we get past thunder valley.
I’d say Jett is a bit behind Eli. Chase is the clear cut favorite for the first few rounds imo.
Excited to see what RJ can do on the 450.
Sounds like Eli is ready for war.
Would not be surprised if Eli comes out and puts a hurting on them at round 1.
I'm down for that bet! Let's revisit this thread in August!
Ironman Eli, SMX Eli, MXON Eli, San Diego Eli, Glendale Eli, I just feel like Eli has been better than Chase lately. He never really stopped cycling, he's been riding Outdoors for a month and a half now, his bike hasn't changed... I just feel like Eli is coming in ready and hungry vs Chase having to switch to Outdoors and sometimes the Supercross slump is real at MX round 1. You're 100% right about Chase coming in with the MX #1 plate and in tip top shape all around. If Eli does beat Chase these first few rounds, that will tell me he is still at his peak in this sport.
Pit Row
Eli better get paid in advance.
If this is true (KTM), he is no dummy so I would imagine part of his contract would stipulate that KTM pays for an insurance policy up front covering his salary and potential bonuses, in the event KTM is unable to pay due to their financial uncertainty.
I had Eli getting 4th OA at round 1, as I thought he would need to ease in a little bit, but this may have changed my mind. Eli doesn't blow smoke, and only speaks confidently about himself in this manner unless he truly believes he can win. He has the same demeanor as he did before the SX season, and his speed was perhaps at peak form in those first few rounds. I would be surprised if he didn't get on the box, and he's certainly in real contention for a win.
Never count the wonderboy (18) out.
Hopefully Eli is not on the orange crate next year. But, I'd rather see him on it than not racing at all.
I didn’t mean that he literally had no ride, rather that he’s been unexpectedly finished up at his preferred team and left with only a couple of undesirable options.
You're 100% right. But 3 months for an full ACL recovery is unfathomable. So for Jett's sake, I really hope he goes out there, gets his holeshots and rides around to a podium for the first month of racing. He can still win the title easily with a bunch of 3rds to start this season off.
You boys are tough on "The Orange Team" Hangtown sure went well last year
RJ came back in like 8 weeks. Recovery from ACL seems to be quite quick now if there wasn’t damage to other ligaments and meniscus.
RJ is having wrist surgery - he's out....
Rj did well at the county fair demo derby last weekend punting the field out of the arena so he hasnt missed a beat.
😎🧐😎🧐
Im sure he will round out the top ten. Hope he and the rest of the guys stay healthy.
Interview I listened to this week, RJ said he had surgery this past Monday on his wrist and is still hoping to line up at Pala.
