I mean being biased to certain riders is sort of his shtick. Now that he has had time to build relationships in the pits, he's able to pull it off in the states. He did the same thing when he was covering MXGP. His rapport with the riders he gets close with gets better information out of them in interviews. 

He’s always loved him. 

If Vital had a Mnt. Rushmore of Vital poster quotes, this one would be in the top three. 

I don’t like this double edged sword scenario the media has to play with. We wouldn’t be getting all the inside stuff if they weren’t close with each other but you can definitely tell there is more passion in regards to Sexton’s performances. I will give Big Lew credit though, he often calls it out before he says it. Not saying that it’s OK necessarily but at least he also acknowledges his heavy handed feelings towards Sexton. 

He does the same with Jeffery. I legit yelled “Oh come TF on Big Lew!” when he said Herlings could potentially have a shot at the championship if Gajser goes out of the series 🤦🏻‍♀️ I know he was half kidding when he said it but damn 😂

Still appreciate what you’re doing Lewis, ima just brush some of the Sexton favoritism stuff to the side and enjoy the mostly professional journalism you’re bringing to this series.

Different strokes for different formats.

Anyone ever notice that the cadence of Kellen’s speech starts to match Lew’s exactly when they’re doing that podcast together? Borderline English accent sometimes. 

I will say, huge Lew fan, but he came off as incredibly hostile towards Kellen in the last episode, especially with the championship mindset debate. Also, this is just my opinion, but I thought that it was ridiculous in the review show when he said it was easier to be in Cooper Webb’s position than it would be to be in Chase Sexton’s during this last race, and then saying most fans are not excited that Cooper Webb won. I appreciate his passion but I agree with him, he’s been in a tad of a lull this last about week.

I don’t disagree with this, but I think we’ve also reached a point where there are op-Ed’s about op-Ed’s about current events.  There are also YouTube channels dedicated to YouTube channels dedicated to watching people play video games.  It’s just 2025.  I enjoy all the moto media! 

Definitely no TG243 bias.

Seems to be more bias on display these days and it is what it is. JT can’t see dirt without mentioning Jett Lawrence, RC critiques sextons mistakes/choices each race. Matthes lives in an echochamber and only supports those with the same views as him, Leigh can’t help but show his constant love for the cowboy. 

Even with all these new media outlets, we’re still left with more questions than answers. That’s journalism baby
