I said "Oh Shit!" to myself when I saw the topic. I'm relieved it was just a teenager joking and not a small 5 to 6-year old kid running over the start straight!
It makes me wonder what would happen if something like this happens just when the gate drops. This is a safety issue that should be adressed soon, although nothing happened yet. What about making the fencing high enough at the start for no spectators, their kids, dogs, whatsoever getting over / through it.

Good point kardy, that is why we need offical "ass beaters" on the fence lines - when someone jumps the fence the "ass beaters" step in and do there job. Smile

Hopefully security catches him next time and he gets the same punsihment that is given to pitch invaders at sporting events down here.

$5000 fine and lifetime ban from where the event is held and to any of the sanctioning bodies of the time of invasion future events. ie if you invade an NFL game you are banned for life to any future NFL games.
