Honda just need him to put the bike in the mains and to gather some raceday data for SX on this new chassis so that they have something for the Lawerence boys to build from next year. If they were smart, they would put Ferrandis on the second bike and use these last 5 rounds as best they can to avoid repeating this SX season in 26. Canard testing at a Cali SX track during the week just isn't the same as that bike out racing SX on Saturday nights in different towns at a proper pro pace.

I don't think it's as simple as just throwing Ferrandis on the other bike. He rides for another Team that most likely has funding from sponsors who are expecting Ferrandis or a rider of his caliber to be representing them.

I’m super happy for him. It feels like a mutually positive situation for both Dean and HRC. It’s a feel good story out of their otherwise disappointing season so far. I don’t imagine they expect too much from him. But I bet he will be pushing to make the most of it. Congrats Deano
