Why not? Up until he got hurt he looked fantastic, slimmed down and looked to be in the best shape of his life. Plus he seemed so stoked to be racing, like he was enjoying it more then ever.

Can't wait to hear that this rumor is true.

I heard he hinted at a go in ‘26 on one of Swap’s shows. Didn’t listen for myself though.

Hell yeah. Every season we have Tomac on the line, is a gift.

He had softly suggested he may race 26 SX, full season would be awesome.  Obviously love to have him but man has he caught the injury bug since doing his Achilles in 23. He just did a reraceables with Matthes on hangtown 2015 and he sounds as stoked to be racing as he ever has.  But man I just want to see him make it through a full season. He could be closing in on his 4th SX title if not for the Achilles and broken leg.

Many moto fans are hoping this rumor is true! Watching Tomac race when he is on - is a level of talent you don't see very often!

I was just looking at the calendar and we are coming up on 6 weeks from ET3's surgery. I would imagine he is about to start training and will be soon turning laps

The thing about Eli is how he just rips apart a track. Jett is amazing but I'm riveted while watching Eli kinda like watching James back in the day.

Rumors are cool, but I’ll wait til he announces it. Let’s get him back from an injury and through outdoors first….would love to see him race another year though! 

Good news, indeed...if it's a fact. Eli is completely capable of winning another title before he hangs it up. He definately has something to prove after back to back season ending injuries.

We all want to see some races with Tomac, Jet and Sexton healthy and fast.

Okay, I am 40 years old. Grew up riding since i was 3 and racing since 7. Been a fan of the sport since since 1992 and I havent ever been able get enough. Been through McGrath, Carmichael, Stewart, Villopoto, Cairolli, Smets, Everts, Herlings, Gajser Prado  and researched and loved to go back to watch Descoster,  Tripes, Hannah, Bradshaw, Mikkola, Glover, Ward, Johnson, and tons of others that would just make this list too long. Eli is truly one of the good guys; the way he carries himself, the way he respects his competitors, and the way he races. He is a model person on the track, seemingly off the track and somebody that undeniably could be a role model for my kids anyday. Any time we get with him his a treasure and i hope he does go for '26. He has the will, the skills and and pedigree to do damage for as long as he believes he can. A toast to Eli(not an open letter), regardless of number of championships, or race wins, thank you for everything you have given to the sport and the fans and the people surrounding it. Im a fan and will be well after retirment whether thats after this year, or hopefully, a season or two down the road.

Hey Boomslang, your mate that gave you the Star Team info wasn’t wrong, Eli is trying to secure a ride, but the Star Team doesn’t appear to be an option. Ask him where he’s headed, inquiring minds want to know. 😊

If i am yamaha. Tomac webb cooper is pretty good insurance against the lawrences.  They are on a roll,  keep it going.
