Also, I made a pretty benign comment on DB’s post and tagged RC and Leigh.  The latter decided to block me.  Fragile.

Imagine if it’s vital mx that causes so much of a shit show, supercross broadcasting quality as a whole drops, NBC pulls out and we go back to square one.

I never cared for Diffy in the booth, he's more a distraction than a talent. That said, I didn't think he had the mentality of an 8th grade girl either. Normally, I'd wait to hear the other side, but the on camera incident with RC in Dallas kind of sealed the deal for me that DB probably isn't exaggerating the situation. I'll never look at RC the same. This won't matter to some, but it does to me. That is next level ego maniac.

He’s not good.  Other motorsports fans hate him as well.  Here’s why he has a job:

- He follows orders and understands the mechanics of broadcasting
- He is not afraid of being in front of a camera
- He has an accent, which NBC thinks adds some cachet (see Will C)

Leigh just isn’t very good at his job.  Then again, nobody (relatively) watches SX, IMSA, or IndyCar (aside from the Indy 500).

For IndyCar, Fox actually outbid NBC for the broadcast rights this year.  They hired Will Buxton, former F1 commentator who’s worked at both Speed/Fox and NBC.  It’ll be interesting to see how he and Fox can turn things around from NBC’s years of neglect.  This is a much bigger topic than DB, but Fox dumping Speed really ruined US motorsports broadcasting as a whole.

All I said was that Leigh and Ricky are trash but the broadcast really sucks because of Bondo.  Compared to the other comments, I was pretty nice.

I could have said that Lee looks like Butters Stotch, but I prefer to maintain some semblance of decorum.

Done with rc and ld.  Bring back moto on Fox Sports.  

Like with every other time some bullshit happens, they need time to get their story straight. Then the usual suspects downplay things and move on. Rinse and repeat.

Like I said earlier. I don’t consider Steve a moto journalist anymore. He’s a moto propagandist. I’ll listen to his podcast guests because they talk small stuff like how a race went or injuries. But for reall news? Stuff like this.. Steve is bought and paid for so he will never get us the TRUTH. Which is what a journalist does. He is not that. 

For example. Let’s say a study comes out confirming monster energy kills you. Let’s say Steve is sponsored by monster energy. Steve follows his money over the truth and would never admit it

Or even the blu cru stuff. Let’s say Yamahas make a shit bike one year and you come to his platform to get guidance on a new bike. He will sell you his sponsorship bullshit instead of the truth. 

I appreciate what he has done to the sport but that’s about it. It would be nice if these “journalists” and podcasters would stop getting money from the same people they might have to report on so we can get the truth on Industry stuff when it comes up

I guess we should go ahead and start a GoFundMe for Daniel for when he gets sued in a few weeks. But good for DB, probably feels great to get that off your chest.

Hopefully DB can give more insight on how NBC operates internally. For example, do the presenters get paid by the show or do they have an annual salary? Who comes up with the "story line"? Is the producer actually a complete dumbass or just an oblivious idiot? 

Many past racers made great commentators.  Bailey, Emig, Pingree, and Langston to name a few.  They also didn’t tarnish their legacy with their television work.  For me, RC has done that.  Not just his sub par commentating, but his below the belt way of dealing with an upcoming commentator who is clearly better.  
.      When he was a racer he had to up his game to beat the King.  It would be nice if he would up his game now, rather than cheap shot-knock out someone who is bringing the game to a new level. 

Exactly. How fucking shallow do you have to be to spank DB and start a vendetta over a simple compliment...that was none of his FUCKING BUSINESS!

As a guy that grew up in the 80’s and kept up with the sport I love via magazines four months after the fact, I appreciate the amount of coverage available in 2025.

That being said, we shouldn’t settle for the commentary provided by RC and Leigh Diffey. Can’t stand Leigh (wife and kids can’t, either) and while I respect RCs accomplishments on a dirt bike, he just doesn’t have the talent when it comes to being one of the primary broadcasters. He never will in my opinion. That curve flattened out years ago…and actually seems to be in decline.

Maybe DB’s video released today will force the powers that be to take a look at what true fans want. They are missing a huge opportunity to shake things up and make much-needed improvements. When they find a combination that resonates with core moto fans, they will be pleasantly surprised that combination will also be more appealing to “new” fans as well. 

Man, I actually listened to RCs full Gypsy podcast, and at the end he said he hopes people can just see him in a better light after this (the podcast). It actually worked and I kinda cut him some more slack and had a little more appreciation for him. Now I’ll never look at him the same. 

RC you were a bad man on a dirt bike, that is all…

Diffey you sure are a poised man to be so shallow and it’s sad to Fuq with someone’s livelihood in such a way. Really sad.

Pulp show, Steve and JT, job over friendship.  Cant blame them, but it does suck.  After watching pulp tonight, does DB come back on the show (pulp)???

I’m going to subscribe to DB’s patreon and I hope a lot of other people do too. Dude got totally burned and I figure it’s a small way I can show my support.

Can’t believe I missed Opposite Day again. 
RC is humble and well spoken on air. Coop looks awesome with his ears tucked in. 

After watching that video, I seriously think RC is a fragile little man who acts like a little bitch when he feels threatened. 

 I’ve seen him treat so many people badly with the excuse that he’s just giving them shit, now I see that he’s just a scared kid who try’s to intimidate those that he feels threaten him. 

 I have lost all respect for that little boy.

My 2 cents... I haven't lost any more respect for RC (what little I have left). Why? Because it's been obvious to me for a long time that he has a fragile ego. His actions don't surprise me at all, so his stock in my book is already baked in.

Leigh just sucks. I didn't hate or care for him, but he can fuck off now. I guess it makes sense that he and RC get along so well.

I'm not going to participate in the social media tear down. Just not my thing.

That whole appearance on Gypsy Ho was an attempt by RC at fixing his tarnished image. Remember, it came not long after DB's appearance.  And RC spent a lot of time banging on about how he's a nice person.  Meanwhile, Gypsy Ho continued to blow him long, hard, and deep.

Steve and JT just spent 10 minutes talking about. 

Hate to feel this way, but I really do trust Blair and think Ricky is a fragile, egotistical manchild. I guess he retired from racing and realized it was the only thing he was good at (maybe he’s a great dad, I won’t comment on that). But he’s been absolutely horrible for years as a broadcaster, and Blair’s account paint him as just an absolute bully. Not only a petty, shallow man, but also, quite frankly, unintelligent.
