I'll second that. 

We have a guy on here that specializes in the colored hoses.   Why not him?  The hoses are good.

Make sure to get the T hose for inside the main frame tube. It's a matter of when, not if, the stocker will leak.

Samco is a good quality huge United Kingdom company whose main product is cars. I see and chat with them every year at the USA motorcycle dealer trade show. At the trade show 3 weeks ago they cut back their display and staff in half. Are they feeling the same squeeze a lot like CV4 did? Time will tell.

Years ago Part of my race track and dealer convention display was whenever someone asked me what is the difference between Moto Hose, CV4 and Samco I handed them the same hoses from all 3 and I asked them can you tell me what the difference is? Every time they looked over all 3 quality and squeezed each one and every time they said they are the same. 

CV4 ? In the beginning Moto Hose focused on beating CV4 prices. Moto Hose drove CV4 out of business because they could not compete with Moto Hose prices plus our kits also included more hoses than just the radiator hoses. Moto Hose kits included radiator hoses plus included the Carb, gas cap, radiator overflow hoses for less money.

How can I do it? Moto Hose is a small 1 man York SC home based business so I can offer the same high quality products and more at a much lower price than the larger competitors can so the difference is not the quality it is Moto Hose lower $$$ price. 

Remember in 2018 when I redesigned both the CRF 250 and 450 cooling systems into a better flowing Y design? Chad Reed even bought those kits for his Honda SX bikes! I hand delivered those kits and Moto Hose became a sponsor. Ironically Samco copied my CRF Y design. 

Suzuki also copied my redesign better flowing Y hose kit on the 2015 RMZ450 that Moto Hose  had been selling for several years.

Feels pretty dam good when your main competitors have to copy your own designs.

As a 45 year MX racer and a 40 year motorcycle mechanic and self taught engineer (Boyesen taught me that term) in me I am  always looking for ways to improve a motorcycles cooling systems performance. Is stock good enough? No.

Recently I redesigned both the KTM/HUS/GAS 250/350 and the KX450’s cooling systems. Funny I shared exactly what I was going to do with the Moto Hose KX450’s design with a long time known team green mechanic at the Mini O’s and what I had described to him was on the factory Kawasaki bikes! He was the one that suggested us moving the temperature sensor back to the cylinder. Little did I know that Kawasaki was doing the same thing for the factory team. Difference is Moto Hose sells it to the public.

KTM has sold an expensive Y kit in their hard parts catalog ever since they changed the cooling system from the Y design to single hoses but those kits also required replacing both radiators so it is expensive. So I designed and manufactured a better flowing Y kit but the Moto Hose design works on the stock radiators so it is less expensive than what KTM sells.

Look in the current MXA they just tested and published the Moto Hose Works KX450 system and LOVED it !!! 

In my 45 + years working mainly as a motorcycle mechanic but I also worked in the manufacturing process of Blue Ice, MC distribution Tucker Rocky warehouse and inside sales rep, so I have had lots of different experience that have worked in making Moto Hose what it is today.

And now about to turn 65 its time for me to retire so Moto Hose a well established business is for sale.

True the older aluminum ones all leaked and the newer plastic ones are a lot worse!

There was a big deal about this several years ago that the packaging/card that said they were made in the USA  but in reality the info/packaging card was made in the USA but the hoses were made in china. (feel free to correct me if wrong ) Don't think the made in the USA is printed on the advertising any longer but not sure. I have has several sets for different bikes and all have been high quality so I don't care where they are made but just that they do work. 😎

I have used Motohose on most of my bikes and have zero complaints or concerns with the quality and durability of the product.

That was started by a vital member that had printed those header cards for me about 10-15 years ago that started that BS having zero knowledge about my business details other than printing the cards.

By meeting federal made in the USA standards and being able to say it turned into harassment so I stoped saying it.

I Don’t remember his name or give a shit about him its all water under the bridge.

If only you could get them in black, not everyone that wants a higher quality hose wants to run colors.

Tried black several years ago after Millsaps asked me to make some for his Suzuki run at being a privateer and all the different brands are still sitting on the shelf. After starting the black production run Milsaps bailed and went to Butler Brothers on a KTM.

Give me a $200 and you can have every one of them. Probably over 200 of them.

Black does not sell. Only thing that sells in black is old vintage and Kawasaki KXT250  3 wheelers.

Tell you what I’ll make you a killer deal on black hoses. I will make what ever models you want and sell the entire production run to you at dealer price. Half down and other half before you pick them up.

What do you mean by “meeting made in the USA standards”? 

Kinda confused. They are or they aren’t made in the USA? Just curious. I’ve purchased a few sets of them from you in the past. May buy some for my new bikes as all. 

Do you think 100% of a Harley Davidson is made in the USA in order for Harley Davidson to be able to say made in the USA? Its not. There are federal % standards that a product must achieve or exceed in order to qualify to be considered made in the USA. We exceed the federal standards only to be attacked for being made in the USA here on Vital. 

100% of the Moto Hose business is for sale for $500,000 so I can retire and when sold I will share every detail for the business to proceed and continue in growth.

Its been posted in the non moto section but For 9 months I have been in excruciating pain and it was finally tracked down to being a L4 and L5 spinal cord pinch.

On Wednesday March 12th I will be having major back surgery. They are saying recovery time will be 4-8 weeks but with limited 5 lb weight lifting I expect be able to get back to shipping orders in roughly 1 or 2 weeks. 

Due to this Moto Hose will be shut down after shipping out orders on Monday March 10th. For a short period of time.
