Another unforced error with the stall, yet he was still winning the race and goes for the unnecessary pass and tosses it away. Webb has this guy in a pretzel. Webb eats and breathes pressure, its not gonna get better from here.
Man that was a tough watch, you could see the despair on Jades face.
It was like a slow motion train crash those last few laps. Everyone is like "dude, 2nd place gets you the overall, dont push cause somethi....." Ohhhhhhhhhh Chase is down.
Chase didn’t implode under pressure.🤣 He went for the win and messed up. It happens when trying to do something big.

Except champions know when to settle for a second when it’s good enough for the overall. Crashing trying to win a moto when finishing where you’re at gets you the overall (and points lead) is stupid, not “trying to do something big.”

He didn’t need the pass for the win. It was an extremely dumb mistake on his part and there was absolutely no excuse for it. And he knows it.
Chase would have been told before the race that if coop is in the lead he only needs second in order to win. His mechanic knew that he knew this.
What pressure? He was in the overall lead. Insanely stupid move. For being that fast, his racing IQ is not very good.
He went after Coop to beat HIM. It wasn’t about the overall, it was about trying not to give Coop confidence.
this one was all on him unfortunately, this was the mistake to critique on. hope he rebounds at daytona so the points stay tight
Man Chase really reminds me of like the early tomac days on a 450. Mentally he just wasn't there.
That wasn’t pressure at all…. That was just being stupid. He knows he’s the fastest, and it’s not that close. I think he thought he could make a statement and it blew up on his face.
Chase constantly folds under pressure. I can totally understand that too, it’s a lot but this dude has a mental block on it and he needs to seriously consider some help to get over this. He’s gonna lose this season if he keeps making bonehead moves.

Yep agreed. Coop just stayed where he was. Non player in Sexton’s mishaps (certainly not gonna start humping his leg, like some on here 🙄)
The only thing I'm concerned about is the way he handle it. Dust it off, learn from it, and move on. He will still most likely win the championship.

I personally loved it. I don’t really care who wins this championship, I just wanna see guys race like their next meal depends on it. Kenny, Webb, Chase, Anderson and bam bam all raced their damn dicks off tonight and I’ve got no complaints about any of it.
I hope the rest of the season has more “stupid” moves.

Yeah, there was no pressure. This was different than the normal “Chase chokes and tucks the front.” He wanted to make a statement pass on Webb and it backfired. I’m not totally mad at him, because if it worked, Webb would have been the one bummed out.

Even if Sexton knew he didn’t have to win, which he should have, Jade still sent the wrong message imo. Regardless it’s on Chase.
