I would assume the refusal of payment from alpinestars for sponsorship money set up a red flag! But the scorned ex-wife sounds a lot better LOL and could be true women are brutal LOL

That would be cutting off her nose despite her face. The G Wagon and Bentayga aren't going to pay for themselves . . .

Even if it wasn't her that tipped them, she is going to win whatever is left after this.

I wanted to spitball and make a post about the VIP experience. I had a feeling all along it was that. It was Mirtl’s brain child. I also noticed at A1 they weren’t doing it anymore. Then all this came out.

Lawyer here. Drug/alcohol problem usually explains why do something so stupid and obvious. Lawyers that fall into drug/alcohol problems do the same types of things and disbarment occurs almost instantly. Even accidentally mixing funds but not spending them. Biggest no no you can do as an agent/lawyer.  Criminal charges incoming. Pretty clear cut evidence given forensic accounting to show the breach and criminal thefts. Contracts, fiduciary duties and common sense are clear on the these rules.

confused in the article "If we had to guess, this would be Tiger Woods". Did the joke go right over my head?

Also, this guy is hosed. as a fellow divorced dad, the process of divorce can surely make a man damn near lose his mind. And having access to that cash may have proven too tempting when he's having to rob peter to pay paul.

Gonna be a long way to the bottom for him.

This is an American Greed episode in the making, for sure.

Using funds generated by your top clients to cover expenses to gain another client's loyalty is next level stupid.

she's gonna own him in divorce court as now all of these allegations will get rolled into his divorce and the judge is gonna cut him off at the knees. Just a horribly stupid stupid situation to find yourself.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some coke/adderal type stuff flowing through his veins, but I genuinely think it's more a product of his environment and just basic greed.

Last I knew he lives in Newport Beach, CA. I lived there and Dana Point for about 7 years until 2020, and it's truly a crazy environment. The cost of living to live a very basic life is astronomical by itself, and then you're surrounded by people living a very unrealistic lifestyle. Whether it's trust fund kids, Bitcoin/Crypto millionaires, Executives of Corporations, Insurance moguls, Capital Investment folks...the money seems endless. You've got to be grounded and realistic about what lifestyle you can truly afford to live there.

I have a feeling between that and being around his clients who make millions, he believed he was one of them and was entitled to the same lifestyle. The OC life got him, IMO. It's so damn common in that area to get caught up for shit like this. I actually left in 2020 after discovering my business partner was funneling funds to his wife for sales commissions that didn't exist. Decided I needed to do business in an area where people are less concerned about their image and appearance, and more likely to be patient and play the long game.

I’m mostly impressed that there was $600,000 to steal from the “replica merchandise” account.

The details emerge. Not looking good for Mirtl !! Seems like his divorce & new baby made him do shady shit. I have been told by many wealthy people that the majority of people that act like they have money really don't!!

I think youd be hard pressed to say a divorce/baby made Mirtl buy the Coenen bros an RV.

Dude was completely neglecting his fiduciary duty for bro cred left and right.

Being that there were multiple wire transfers etc this clown just sealed his fate on some serious federal charges. All told he could be facing 15-20 years in a Federal prison! Wire fraud is no joke!

I’m confused on the alpinestars bit. Was this for merch? They were printing tees and Mirtl never paid the invoice so they took it off the Lawrence’s salary?
