Deegan has a lot of young followers who really look up to him. What kind of example does this set for the way to act? If you are a parent, do you teach your kids to talk shit all the time and always try to stir shit up. Do we want our kids in grade school and high school acting like this? As somebody else said in this thread, if you are a little guy like Deegan and walk around being very arrogant and talking a lot of shit, you will eventually get your ass kicked.
What Deegan does on the podium and on social media, doesn't translate well to real life. Prepare for a beat down if you act like that guy does.

I've come across a lot of people that like to create drama as much as Deegan, 80% of the time they are women.
if youre a parent and some kid on instagram has more influence over the way your child acts then the mother and father do in the household.....that "influencer" is the least of your worries, get your home in order. Theres always been someone in the movies, media, sports etc thats abrasive and that kids watch/enjoy(pro wrestlers, rock stars, rap stars, etc) This is like the media trying to blame eminem and marylin manson for the colorado school shooting lol. " zomg my kid is going to be an asshole and bully his riding buddies because deegan said he races hard and took out someone in a heat race..omg he needs to stop"🙄
I think as parents we probably shouldn't have our kids modeling themselves after professional athletes in general, regardless of what venue they participate in. There are a few that were probably model citizens like Dungey or Peyton Manning, but there are many more that aren't.

I REALLY, REALLY don't get all the Deagan hate. You friggin people are cookoo. You complain that racers are to close lipped and don't say anything, or enough, about other racers etc. Then, along comes Deagan, wins a ton, rides the bike like a mad man, exciting to watch and then tells you exactly how he feels and.................you don't like that either. Most of you guys probably would have hated Bob Hannah too.
