They dont say anything about fraud or involving the authorities (implying a crime). The Lawrences said that. If Mirtl had a side hustle with the Lawrences and setup a joint account, that's probably against Wasserman policies and is grounds for termination for cause. But that's not necessarily a crime.
My original comment on this was thar I wasn't rushing to judgements. Maybe he did steal ir defraud the Lawrences; or maybe the Lawrences wanted fancy sponsorships with fashion designers and didn't understand the costs to land those deals.
Embezzlement, a tale as old as time. Now every rider that has been represented by him will go back and check. This is going to possibly end with jail time depending on the amount.

My advice to Vital is be careful. Much of this is Libel. My brother is an attorney and I sent this to him, he's a firebreather and IF there was a "misunderstanding" ....Lawsuits are messy and Very expensive. That was a bizarre way for the Lawrence's to deal with this. Doesn't really surprise me though.

I reread your post after I replied and got the tone wrong so I went ahead and deleted my response. I agree 100% and think your OJ reference is definitely something to keep in mind. Depending on verbiage used in contracts, certain situations like you presented definitely muddy the water for prosecuting.
Will some of you please spend 5 minutes reading about what libel actually is and what elements have to be present for a case to succeed?
Hint: nothing in this thread comes close. Nothing the Lawrence family posted comes close on the face of it even if it turns out this was a big misunderstanding and Mirtl did nothing wrong......

I don't think gypsy is defending Lucas, nor am I. I think he is just pointing out there there are a milion scenarios that can be twisted to use in court and ANYTHING can happen with a jury. Stupid little things like a simple text message from Lucas to the Lawrences like "Hey guys, I have an opportunity to meet with the GM of Gucci to discuss sponsorship/fashion. I think we have a good shot but it might take a little greasing"....Lawrences respond "Hell yeah, make it happen".
Then Lucas proceeds to fly to Italy and spend 60k to meet with them all while having his own vacation.
In a court, couldn't there be a reasonable doubt with a jury when his defense makes a very solid case that Lucas was given the green light to "grease the wheels" and do what's necessary to sign the lavish deal?
There are jsut so many scnenarios that can be made up by these attorneys, which is what gypsy was referring to as "misunderstandings".
