Not about being a fan or not, Sidi and Gearne don’t invest in SX like Astars, Fox, Thor do even tho their boots are better quality. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Does anyone have any experience modifying the flex control bars on their Tech 10s? I am looking at getting the enduro model which doesn't have them vs getting a standard pair and hacking away at those bars.

A stars switched their manufacturing from Italy to china awhile back and the qualify has severely suffered. Gaernes are where it’s at. A Stars is overpriced junk. My last set of Tech 10s I only got a couple of months out of. My gaernes I can easily go 1 1/2 years on a set.

They are not made in china, they are made in Croatia.

They must have changed again. Bottom line is it doesn’t matter… Italian made boots are far superior

They have never been made in china.  I won't argue that Gaerne's last an eternity.  Its kind of like tires, you can have a super grippy tire and you can have a very long lasting tire.  You can't have both.

Why does everyone think Astars are made in China? Tech 7 is Thailand (the same country the Triumph MXers are made). I don't know about the Tech 3 and 5, but I would expect they are made in Thailand too.

It’s literally only one person that said that. Why can’t anyone read these days?

How many hours did you ride wearing out Tech 10's in two months?

Love em, but I blew out my achilles in 2020 in my SG12s.

My PT summarized it like this - when load > strength, achilles leave the chat, its that simple. However, this injury has become very common in todays "ride of on the balls of feet" era of riding style.

At the time I was bare minimum doing 30 minute motos everyday. Literally everyday
