It's been open for a little while now, they are just redoing the track layouts so closed till the 18th. I really want to go as it looks awesome, but it's hard to justify the 6+ hour R/T.

I have went twice now and will return for sure. Owner seems like a great guy after speaking with him.  They are hoping to start hosting races soon as well.

I am going to have to breakdown and get an airbnb for the weekend with a garage so I can ride a couple days in a row to make the drive worth it.

That's a 3.5 hour haul for me... But I'll make it happen. Choices are getting slim.

It was $40 last Sunday when I was there. I'd be happy to pay $50 if it helped a track stay open.

That's a fun shit show in the comments of their IG. I'm of the opinion all these tracks should be charging $50 on the weekends... I know I'm in the minority.

Pretty sure they will let you camp there. I’d probably confirm via IG or if you don’t have that I could find out for you if you PM me

I’m local and have a buddy that rents out a couple toy haulers if you decide to come out. That track gets better and better as the day goes on. A lot of desert riding right there too

Summit bike park charges $60 for a lift ticket and that’s just to ride a mountain bike. I’d be curious what the overhead vs a mx track is.

Good that there’s a new track, sounds like they are investing their profits to benefit the riding experience. I always tend to wonder where Elsinore put their additional gate fees?

The comparison to the year 2000, $25 dollars was equal to $ 48.72 in today's economy. Not that I want to pay $ 50 to ride my dirt bike but it's not too far off.

Mine and SoCalMX70's R/T mileage to ride Sunfair for the day is the equivalent of driving from So Cal to St. George, UT give or take a handful of miles.

Just saying if you only have to drive an hour or 2 to ride a quality track you have it pretty good. To ride a national caliper track for me is 3-5 hours. There are good local public and private tracks closer but to ride the excellent in the Midwest you need to travel for a lot of people

Ok but we were paying $25 in 2015. Cahuilla is $28/ride on a 5 ride pass even today.

place is rad! Also not suggesting tracks raise their prices but honestly surprised that tracks dont charge more. Avergae green fees price for golf in SoCal is 60-80 bucks.
