I'm of the unpopular opinion that a lot of these guys get to a point of diminishing returns with their thousands of pre-season laps, resulting in over-thinking the bike and risking pre-season injuries. He's had plenty of time to get to know the bike, and he'll be fresh at A1. We'll see . . .

I didn't understand this, at all. So originally Smith & Forkner were going West, Stilez & Swoll East. Swoll gets hurt who was already planning to race East, and that makes Forkner leave West to go East? Only thing I could get from this is they don't want Stilez alone on East and Forkner could use the extra time, but why line him up on the West in the first place if he needed time.
Yet we still don’t know exactly where RJ is going and we are 3 days out…

Maybe banking on Swoll to be a title threat and now they want forkner there
Maybe Triumph said our best chance to win a title is Forkner. Staying away from Deegan, Kitchen and Shimoda is not bad as well.

I would imagine they're banking on RJ racing West so he can run the number one plate. It may even be a race day decision if he lines up at A1.

How about they think they have a better chance at grabbing #1 plate on both coasts. Did not make sense to me having the dog's fighting over the same bone. Swoll was a proven contender with solid cred. I am sure Stiles will have admirable results but they needed a big dog on the East coast. The big question is who replaces Swoll, he may be back but not early enough to have a shot at a title.
