I’m pretty sure this happened at the Nashville round. But yes, it’s true. They discussed it on pulp Mx the following show.
Both Hill Bros. are somewhat frustrating, even though I still root for them to finish well. Two of the most talented riders of their times but neither seemed like they were really willing to put in the work during the week that guys like RC, RV, and RD were willing to. Both of them were incredibly fast at times and had the potential to be consistent winners, but the speed also seemed to only show up every now and then, so again it sort of seemed like wasted talent at times.
The really frustrating part was when you looked at the amount of pure talent that they had/have and then compare it to someone like Weston Peick who seemed like he had half their talent but was willing to work 5X harder.
Either way, it’d be good to see Justin put in a full season with maximum effort in training. He could definitely be a danger to compete for a top 5 with the right equipment, but his head would really need to be screwed on straight to live up to his potential.
He said on this show that is exactly what he has done, so I guess we will see. My guess is after 4-5 races something implodes and he disappears again. No body knows what happened with PRMX, but seems he gave them a big shaft.

Looked incredible. Hearing all the flying at the test track talk about him in the off season was exciting but you never know what that leads to, but he’s seriously looking like he’s ready to back that up
This is only tangentially related to the Gypsy interview, but did anyone hear his Swapmoto How Was Your Weekend interview? He said he truly believes he can win, and while a lot of riders believe that, knowing what Justin Hill can do on a dirt bike I could see him challenging for some top 5’s, or having rides similar to Martin Davalos Atlanta 2020.
