I can only hope that it actually becomes a non partisan issue, but for now it seems like election security is not the primary concern. Winning at any and all cost is the primary endpoint or concern. Not exactly what I consider a healthy Democracy or electoral process, but whatever, If it is the game you want to play, I guess it will get played.

It was investigated by the proper authorities.
These individuals face legal actions if they do not comply with departmental requirements in their investigations.
