Nope, you insisted on 20% instead of 50%, that's not a couple percent difference 🤣

In your own words: "I say with 100% certainty KTM DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR 50% of the off-road 2 wheeler sold here."

When the document you posted to back up this claim says...50%.

But we're running in circles, which is more interesting on a bike than on a forum, this conversation is not interesting to anyone anymore, see you later.

I didn't insist 20% anything.

Evidently reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

Said everyone since the 1990’s and yet here we are. 2 new OEM manufacturers, fledgling n electric brands popping up seemingly everyday and more professional racing then ever before. Huge turnouts at gncc and amateur moto races.

I think Red Bull will step up and help the KTM SX team expenses for 2025 if needed. If the bankruptcy happens in Feb, it will be interesting times for the orange tent teams.

I like how you guys are picking apart a few million + dollar purchases here and there. you don’t rack up 2.9 billion in debt because you built a nice shop and aquired a tractor trailer. The fuck up is much larger than that.

100% Wrong.

It is THIS EXACT attitude that is the problem. That is how you rack up a couple billion in debt. Making shit logical decisions. Someone else said it before in this thread. "what you do with one dollar you will do with a hundred".

Many people on here have been talking about their OBVIOUS overspending for years... but people are so brainwashed into thinking the new shiny expensive shit is the ONLY way to go. Its shallow and pathetic to be honest. I am not singling you out but this attitude is everywhere nowadays.

Why do you think the crowd GOES BANANAS when a privateer on a dirty busted box stock pulls a holeshot and drags the factory guys around for a few laps at a National? They are tired of this elitist BS that companies like KTM portray. Go to a GNCC and watch how people treat Stew B. The guy (like Jordan) "plays for the team he owns". The fans can relate to that and it shows. He isnt investing in mobile cry rooms to get away from the fans.

The worst part is these large "Factory guys" come in on borrowed debt and "grow the sport" and everyone else is trying to swim to their level and cant make it. Then we find out it was all fake and borrowed.

One thing is certain. The KTM Fanboys defended them all the way down. Their proof, success.

Last time I commented on the price action and was 100% correct I was attacked by the clown posse. They can figure it out for themselves from now on.

It's not rocket science, like all shares, the price can only go up, or down, or stay where it is, or disappear if it stops trading.

I could care less about if Chase’s next check clears  or if the race team takes a year off.  I think we should be more concerned with all the folks at the local dealers who support local riders and racers.  We should be more concerned about the people getting canned right before the holidays than winning pro races IMO.  I’m a KTM fan and racer but don’t agree with this.

It looks to have come to arrogance and personal motivations. Seemingly the very reason they are in trouble. The company has zero path forward with current management.

Does anybody know any thing about KTM's failed experiment with the electric bike project, a Stark competitor maybe?

The bearish engulfing pattern is about as negative as it gets. 3 times average volume.

Stock is going to be suppressed by bears for the next year or so at least. Even if they get back on track it’s going to be a while before the stock comes back. Heavy resistance.

Meanwhile, what any self-respecting CEO does when they sink the ship:

Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares resigns from struggling carmaker - The Verge

It sounded like he and the board members were in disagreement how to move forward. Could have been more of a your voted out but if you want to save face you can resign.

I don't think Pierer has much to worry about. Likely the reason he fired the other board members.

It's hard to imagine this guy stepping down. He thinks he owns the whole show.

Pierer leveraged all of his personal assets to the restructuring, don’t believe he would have done that if he did not recognize the mistakes previously made and now has a plan to move forward. I don’t believe it is greed that is motivating him, he believes in this brand and what it can be again.

If KTM gets themselves out of this mess, what must they do differently in the future to prevent this from happening all over again? They cant just kick the can down the road. There will have to be a complete change in management style and philosophy, different goals etc.

If you've been paying attention they've been trimming the fat for awhile now on the racing side.

They've cut the Dakar program from 3 teams with 5-6 riders down to just one team with 2 riders.  That had to have saved some serious coin.

They cut their Factory Dirt Track team going into 2024, 2 time defending champ got fired without warning.

They cut a bunch of Factory Supported Teams in Europe that race various off road series.

They just cut Kailub Russell who has been with KTM literally his whole life.

Nah, just the mismanaged ones. The overall stock market is at record highs and has been on that trajectory for a while.

People are figuring out what they want to spend money on, more of my friends and family are investing more in stocks and real estate. Everyone wants to have rentals or Air BNBs it seems. Any money for leisure gets spent on vacations. As more things get automated there's definitely going to be a massive rollercoaster as people try to figure out where and what the next good jobs will be. Construction seems to be doing really good right now. IT and cyber security are also pretty strong as everything moves to the cloud, but I bet they'll be some of the first cuts as AI starts taking over. It's going to be interesting watching it unfold, but it's also going to suck balls.

I don’t think they need that kind of overhaul. KTM made a few missteps during COVID.  They gambled and lost. I am shocked they thought the COVID gravy train wouldn’t end.

Market is up, consumer sentiment is way down.

Love it when people look at the market and decide everything is perfectly fine. I’m just a dumb self employed contractor but I’m pretty sure the clock is ticking on that bomb. What goes up….
