I like Savatgy for his riding ability and the way he performs on the track as a rider. But I think he hits the complain button way too much, always got an issue with something. Instead of moaning about Jett and Hunter maybe thank them for bringing the more eyes to an event within the series you just won.
A lot of people around the world tuned in to watch, people who wouldn't have watched an Australian Supercross round had the Lawrence's and Webb not been there. And too be honest, Savatgy got more screen time during the races than Jett did, I even saw a whole lot of him rolling round in race 3 with a flat, more tv time than we saw anyone but Deano and Hunter get in that race.

Flew over from Perth, hotel and Melbourne for 4 days. I get racing’s racing but I can’t help feel the Lawrence camp brought the wrong vibe. 40k plus people paid to watch the best in the world do what he does, not an opening ceremony. We got one superpole lap. Race looked like he was on a Sunday jaunt for half of it. Theres lots of mentions of a ‘spectacle’ from agents and filmers…
Jett himself in the opening ceremony said “we’ll see” when asked if he was here to show he’s the best or to play it safe by the stadium hype man.
Now words out that he was running a stoker anyway? Kyle websters bike was on display all day, chuck your plastics and suspension on that and get on with it, Deegan would’ve…
Trying not to be a hater, but its just disappointing, ill be back next year to watch Deegan make his 450 debut 🤫🙏

I had a question for the Deegtards.... it wasn't too long ago that Captain America skipped out on MXoN because he needed "surgery". Seems like that surgery was a super fast recovery if he's already flying at the test track and wanted to race in Australia. Why couldn't he put off that "surgery" for a bit and race for HIS COUNTRY so he could wave the flag on the podium in England, and then maybe have the surgery later, and skip this race in Australia which is relatively meaningless (except for potential start $$) ?
Careful coming in here with pointed questions that challenge the narrative the deegans try to white wash us with.
They constantly move the goal posts. No wrist injury, small wrist injury, actually broken wrist had to get surgery, can’t race MXdN because of surgery to remove screw would hamper sx prep. Flying at the test track 7 weeks before a-1, is ready to go and wants to race ausX. It’s exhausting.

Looks like Kayden Minear has turned some heads and is headed State side next year. He did win race 2 of the sx2 class but him and Cole Thompson who finished second were docked for jumping on the red cross flag (which seemed to be waived any time a rider went down and even the commentators noted it was being waved when there was no one around at all). Stoked for a kid from my home town of Perth to get an opportunity in the big leagues!
Over 42300 was the attendance.
Was an absolute crash fest as well.

Not that I was going a 1/4 as fast or that high in the air, but getting yeeted at that angle is imo one of the most equilibrial unsettling mid-crash flying positions. Even at the slow speeds it just seems to set you up to get folded like lawn chair. One of those types of crashes that makes my adrenaline flip my stomach for a sec. Plus Phil is cool as hell and I especially hate seeing the guy hit the dirt.
