Laninovich To Race 2024 SX

I am on the "250 makes a main for sure" train. 

Zero chance he makes a main in 450 given the riders list. Hell there are going to be top team riders who don't make the main in 450 SX until the field lightens up. 

Racing is fun. 

I think it's a terrible idea. I hope he doesn't end up on a stretcher. Racing Supercross at 40 is ridiculous. I think he forgets what a savage beast he was at 18 years old. There's no room for a 40-year-old out there against a bunch of kids with nothing to lose.  I say he gets smoked and doesn't show up for round three. 

From what I understand, the goal isn't to be "amazing". Seems more so that the opportunity presented itself so he wanted to give it a go. I personally think natural skill alone will land him in a few mains which could be considered quite impressive at 40 years old. 

Remember how Hansen did during his comeback? Compare Hannys talent on a bike with what we see when Billy rides now and i think he will have a hard time.

Guys who rode at that level, where else could they race tracks as gnarly and awesome as a pro supercross race or National-prepped motocross track. If they have the opportunity, enthusiasm and balls to go racing again, why shouldn't they. If it doesn't pan out so be it, but that has to be better than always wondering if you could have made another main... or whatever the goal is.

If they race Loretta's people get upset, if they try and race pro again people say they shouldn't bother, what are they supposed to do 😂

Laninovich was never at any time on Dowd's level . I wish him the best though .

One thing that can be said for Billy is he's not showing to take parade laps.

Is Laninovich back for the last two rounds?

Did he get hurt or was he only racing select rounds?

He got hurt, and was out for a while. 

He was at Denver, but wasn't feeling great. The elevation is really hard on chest injuries.

I think its cool. 

Stay as active as you can for as long as you can. 

This is cool. I hope he does better than last year.

Way better bike/program and some modern SX experience. Should go well!
