Dude is an ironman, running both the pro class and electric. He’s just on the track all night👍

Racers race. If there is a gate dropping with cash on the line you can bet Hicks will line up and be a threat for the top step.
Been hearing his name for a few years now, we will we ever see him in Supercross ? Where’s he from ? Impressive amateur career ?
Micheal has raced supercross. He did a lot of east coast round in 23. Pretty sure he only did one this year though.
Very smooth riding style from his bicycle skills. He's great to watch.

He is from st louis, he races alot of local county fair races close to me in southern Illinois, raced pitbikes against him a few times this past summer
Hes from Missouri, heard hes off and on, doesnt give a shit whether he races or not some closer to him say.
Fucking fast and super talented.
Wish if he would have more desire if tue he soesnt.
No money if that matters in AX.
Free country just sad to see talent not try to go all the way If it's true he doesnt care?

He's raced a handful, including a round this year.
I think they said on an AX broadcast at the end of last season that he was moving to California and pursuing Supercross primarily for this season. Seems like a cool way to make money racing as a pro. He's been to lorettas and done some of that but seems to be specialized in what he's skilled at and what is local to him, being arenacross. This will then feed into supercross skills and since SX is easier on bikes than MX, he could have a nice lengthy career. Plus making good money in arenacross and fair races. His racecraft in those Head 2 Head races is unreal.
He's racing both his Yamaha and Varg in AX, I would love to hear his thoughts on this.
Wait until the OP finds out the top guys in Arenacross ALWAYS raced both classes, both nights every race weekend.
This is nothing new my friend.
Looks like he went to LL regularly but never stood out except in 2020 when he won Collegeboy. This is why I think focusing on LL only is what is wrong with this sport and many are overlooking the arenacross/faircross path to get into SX. Past 5 years he has been racing pro arenacross and is insanely fast. Pure speed outdoors is totally different than indoors, and he has pure speed indoors, which could translate to supercross if he wanted it. I personally think he could be a top 10 250 supercross guy consistently with the right training, equipment, and want. Has a BMX background from what I can tell online which is why he is so good at technical arenacross.
Loretta’s is more how much money your parents earn than it is true talent in my opinion
He said he’s riding 450 supercross next year.
Is it me or does his age not line up in those Vault results
2016 and 2018?
Winning college boy is pretty stellar
I'm guessing he was born in 2001 based on those Vault Results, so 23 years old, seems to match the age classes.
Did he race bmx ? His style seems like he did. I watched a few ax races from last yr. He hits jump faces way faster & has a New move that no other rider has done. He kills the up motion but rockets out low . Like Real fast out into the next rhythm where he stays low again. He does that move Real quick. Allessi said last yr he raced against the best RC, Stew, Reed. And Michael Hicks is legit. A lot of AX riders in the past made more than sx. Until the last 2 yrs the sx purse has gotten bigger. Buddy made 550k in the short season. Chad Johnson won 2 titles & was always top 3, New pu truck + points bonus for a championship in 2010. He had a big house and land by aprox 20 yrs old. 4th in Daytona SX. Still wins both motos in 450a at a pro am. Switched bikes every yr. Hick,s was on a Honda the last 2 yrs . I was in downtown Des Moines this morning & went past the arena. It always sold out back in the 2-st days. Along with all the rounds in the Midwest & ne.

I was thinking 2012 85 (9-11) stock to 2014 450B. So maybe with AMA rules he's 12 at Loretta's in 2012, that makes him 14 in 2014. I know the rules changed in recent years about how old you must be to race a 450 but that's still a pretty steep jump. 19th is a pretty impressive result for a 14-year-old in 450B (a 10th in moto 2).
I don't know how the age rules work, but by the year/class, he seems to have lost a year of age between the 85(9-11) class in 2012 and the College(16-24) in 2016. There may have been a rule change based on birthdays between those years(?)
How many 450B riders are actually on 450s?
Shocker, I know that they used to run 125/250. That has nothing to do with today though.
