Arenacross Introduces Groundbreaking X-Pro Class!
Get ready for a new era in AMA-sanctioned racing with the 2025 Arenacross series!
2025 Kicker Audio Clash Introducing the X-Pro class with Stark VARG electric bikes.
“We believe the X-Pro class will not only showcase the future of Arenacross but also ignite fresh interest in the sport.” - Shawn Smith, AX Promotions
- New Talent & Exciting Opportunities
- Innovative Racing Format
Stay tuned for more updates and prepare for an unforgettable season
Not many changes for the gas bikes(except they get paid more). However they do get a chance for the fastest gas bikes to line up against the fastest electric bikes each week in a clash to win a piece of $42,000($3,500 per round).
That's cool to see Arenacross evolving and the AMA took a great step on inviting electric riders to the show.
This announcement was quite surprising, are you confident you'll find some riders to race with Bogle and Hill on such short notice? Would some AX class riders be allowed to race in the X class as well?
The new class offers a total of $63,000 in purse money for electric and gas racers. I have a feeling that this will bring some racers to the table.
63k for Friday and Saturday night ? Do you hv a B main ? For the riders that didn’t make the 14 rider main. I think the GT AX dropped it this yr. I don’t think it was a 15 lapper. A short sprint race 300 for 1st or the purse.
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Stark is the only manufacturer for that class as of now? Great advertisement for them, are they bankrolling the class and bonuses?
Would be great if there weren't 3 different AX series.....
12 rounds
2 mains + 1 B main in AX
1 main in X
Clash for cash for both
If one were to win both mains + clash for cash that's $5600 per round!
With championship bonus you're looking at $68k for the perfect season.
X class main win + clash that's $3k per round, $36k for perfect season.
Mains are written as "TBD, approximately 7 min + 1 lap"
It's all in there: https://arenacrossusa.com/racer-resources/
I believe it's open to all class 4 electric motorcycles. But yeah that's probably going to be a Stark cup given it's the only competitive electric bike commercially available right now. That's what you get for electric class in 2024.
Electric class might be more interesting in a couple of years with more manufacturers, which is why IMHO for now open class makes more sense (at least for amateurs).
that's total purse and points fund or the series, not one race.
80 hp bikes with unbelievable torque on a tight indoor track?
sounds fun......better raise the safety nets a little higher
AX just got a lot more interesting.
Another reference to "the future" that we all so eagerly await. 😪
Wrong…. The $63,000 is funds that are available to racers in the electric bikes only. The total purse and championship funds availabile is $275,800.

I only mentioned the electric bikes in my reply.
But hey, go ahead and take every oppurtunity to make another post to bump this instead of just doing a thorough explanation with all the info in your first post
I guess this is what PR looks like now
Do you get extra pr points for telling someone "wrong" at the start of your post?
Drop the e class . Add a 125 pro class there where always more exciting than the 250 2-st. Quickest pivot ever in a corner. Chad Johnson against his team mate Jeff Wiloh . On TUF. Parts unlimited cr125,s. Chad won both motos in 450a at a pro am this past summer, still Really fast.
Good, awesome, fantastic. Give them their own class and it will save a lot of strife. Not wanting these things competing with ICE bikes does not mean you don't like e-bikes. I bought my kid one, but they should not be racing ICE bikes.
No better introduction of electric dirtbikes in professional racing that this, imo. Makes perfect sense.
I watched this video this week! Haha it was pretty good! Watched some PJ1 AX and some Bookoo AX videos.
The promoter this year is doing a big push to make AX relevant again so I hope it will be lots of spectators. I wish the venues were a little more diverse though.
No matter the topic, somehow, some way, pro going to promote 125s. Gotta respect the consistency.
Will this bring much more track maintenance over the evening?
