For anyone remotely interested, I still have the Alessi supermini. I kept it along with my son's last supermini as mementos to our time spent racing motocross.

The Alessi bike may not have much $$ value to the masses, but it's value to me is more than monetary. I think that the story behind it is interesting, funny and sad all wrapped together. Had Mike dominated the pro motocross scene like he did the amateurs, the bike would probably be worth more monetarily at this point.

Maybe when one of my grandchildren are old enough for a supermini, I'll freshen it up and we'll go racing with it. I think that it would be awesome for a Loretta's qualifier some year in the future to race this bike to another Loretta's championship! Hey, who knows, this bike has a story that may not be over quite yet!

If Tony acted like a dick, and we all know that Varner is one, why not keep it and tidy it up? It looks pretty clean and unridden.

Tony and Varner have never did anything sketchy. Should be fine to just ship it to either one and wait for the check in the mail.

Man if that bike could talk - 

 

Alessi at his peak on an 80 truly was incredible to watch....Watching him take off 30 seconds behind the schoolboy class at Glen Helen and catch them before the white flag in a five-lap race was incredible.
