DC did a great job. He needs to hire himself to replace Weege and put Weege somwhere else.

Sack Emig. DC and Weege would be killer. Or even DC and Bailey.

It was a perfect fix I think to Weege being out. What I loved about it is neither of them was announcer and color commentator. It just seemed like two guys bench racing during a race. I've never thought the whole announcer /color guy format really worked in mx. You end up with two guys trying to do their individual jobs rather then what we had today with two guys just talking about racing and filling us in at the same time. Great job guys.

Oh and congrats to Weege and momma Weege on the new baby girl.

DC sounded like a tool on the Speed broadcast, repeatedly refered to Wil Hahn as Wilbur, like so many times it required me calling him a tool on here. I'm sure Wilburs parents will be stoked to tivo the race and watch it over and over again. Normally Emig is the question mark, Emig should be requesting that DC replace Weege from now on.

Also, Emig and Sheheen did a great job during the Dungey/VP2 battle in St. Louis. After the 3rd time I rewatched that race I realized that they were really on the ball for that CBS broadcast. They were so into that race.

Everything about today was awesome...great announcing...Speed had so many cameras and the track was a thing of beauty. The sport looked very professional today. If DC would strap on an apron with big pockets and sell some peanuts he might keep himself busy...instead of just goofin' all day. Seriously though...great job to everyone involved and lastly, another great day of racing.

You guy's do know that DC has been doing commentary on TV coverage of the Nats and SX since maybe even before RC's rookie year?

ESPN used to hire him (even before he owned the Nats) and they know a little something about TV?

"Do some homework" Uhm, he is kinda busy.

DC do I get a t shirt?

DC Calling him Wilbur over and over started to bug me after awhile. I thought maybe it was an inside joke. Never heard him called Wilbur. Everything ive seen or heard says Wil.

I was being sarcastic...I know he's busier than a one armed paper hanger and still finds time to come on here and play nice with some of the slow kids.

I thought they were a great team and did a good job. Seems like Emig stepped up to the left seat and handled it. Keep it this way, i say.

Thanks, and sorry for calling Wilbur by that too often, but that's what I have called him for years.... Then again, I don't really like being called David, so i can understand. At least I called Jeff by his name instead of Fro Daddy, which I've done for years too (and he kicked ass today in an unfamiliar role).

It was fun, but The Weege will be back for Thunder Valley, thank goodness.

Good question to ask next week...which does he prefer...Wil/Wilbur. That way we get it straight from the horses mouth (get it?...Wilbur...Mr. Ed).

DC can you ask Jeff to start speaking like he did back in that 92MXDN video? Jeff Emig this, Jeff Emig that, When Jeff Emig Raced, Jeff Emig. That would be cool! Laughing

You guys did great. I can't believe people are still nit-picking about live and same day coverage. Great job today, and great job the past several years.
