That sounds like a lot of fun, too bad I live so far away.
I miss when LTM had a rubber band start grass track mx race where the Bomber track is now. Signed, guy who learned how to ride carving a track into a grass field.
Wish I was still in GA. Looks awesome! My first races were at Runnin Brand MX not too far away.
How much different will the track be on Sunday, besides the fact that all of the grass will be gone?

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
We are plowing and prepping the track like a normal motocross race for Sunday.
Thanks for that. Do the modern classes on Saturday mean any new bike, or just newer vintage bikes?
Mariachi band in the woods?
Each day you'll be able to ride any bike of any year.

On my calendar!
Does one of the jumps, jump over a barbwire fence?😉
It states you need a SEVMX and AMA membership. For a one off race why do you need a AMA membership? I guess SEVMX is running it but it's a bummer to have to get a one day membership for both. If it's a series I can see it.
This still on? I know you guys got some weather down there.
The Vurb podcast with Kevin Kelley yesterday indicated that they had to make it an AMA sanctioned event for liability and insurance purposes. Bringing hundreds of riders to a family farm that doesn't carry the typical track insurance is a huge risk - and the family is already in a difficult position with the wife needing medical treatment for an ALS diagnosis.
I plan to be there
What is the GP Endurance class, and how does the team race work?
Thanks Kanewel433. That makes sense. I was planing on going but I blew up my ankle last weekend at the Barber Vintage Festival.
This race was like a reunion of long time mx friends. Beautiful day and a great track. I would like to thank all the Kelley boys who brought this together for a great cause, and the family that hosted the event. Everyone had a great time! King Kelley would be proud. I bet he was smiling down on us all day as he sipped his Miller Lite. I hope this becomes an annual event.

Pit Row
I bypassed the Vurb Classic 3 hours away, and instead went 6 hours for this event. I'd do it all over again next year. Shout out to the Kelley brothers, Mr. Sutton, and everyone who showed up. Thanks for a great weekend.
If there are any photographers that captured #433 in either the Open - Intermediate class, 30+ class, or Unlimited C class, please contact me. TIA
I had to work most of the weekend but I made it to the races Sunday afternoon to take in some of the action. No way I was going to miss out on a moto event so close to home even if I could not ride. The track was amazing for a 1 time only event. It was miles better than some of the stuff I grew up racing on in Florida. The layout looked fun and I wish I would have been able to bust out some laps.
They did have the Great Escape jump which had the log barricades on either side which paid homage to the movie. No barbed wire though.
It was epic! Both me and my wife raced on Saturday and came home to Chesterfield, SC that night.
Couldn't stay to pick up our awards, but the place was reminiscent of a mx race in the early 80's. 3 jumps. Grass in the morning. Naturally turned over by knobbies and not a disk.
Losts of fast old dudes. Better than DITD. They just didn't have enough time in the day to get done and have the awards at a respectable time on Saturday.
I put up a couple of GoPros of the track on YT
Thanks to everyone that came out. We raised somewhere near $30,000 for Andy and Victoria and they are open to doing it again. Get our dumb recap on our show Winner's Take Y'all.

This is so cool! wish I still lived in Georgia
Good job Kevin, looked awesome.
Down south I see you're from Tallapoosa. I live over by Roopeville. Were you racing or just spectating? That was me on the #23 Kawi and #777 YZ125.
Thanks to Rob White from www.robwhiteimages.com for capturing the magic.
