This web is big, Riley racing support is coming directly from JJL, Riley have money, (has Riley paid him to makeIt look like There operation continued without jumbo support as a defence tactic) Look just absorb the facts, why was f&h all black this year, a team who has marcy Marc on board who has always been in bed with eggens, and why are they going away now, there are a lot people using shredding machines right now,

But at the end of the day fuck it, someone took government money and put it into motocross, they need a medal

Who’s JJL? It’s strange to say, but all that illegal money has brought the MX to a good point in the scene. If they didn’t do that, there where quite some teams not operating for a few years.

Jean-Jacques Luisetti, CLS, the guy who brought pourcel back

Ahh yeah indeed, forget that one. The Riley guy was quite some time in jail due ‘drugs’ if I was informed correctly.

Also, the FH team don’t need the illegal money, as the Fase family has a good running company and a lot of money by them self. They got screwed by Kawasaki, that’s why they are black in 2024 season. They will be back in 2026, and again in black, only an other brand in the awning.

Investigation about what? 🤔

SM Action is under investigation for financial fraud in Italy is was a source tells me. About Dutch MX Teams, there is a joke "If you yell DEA, 95% of all material and people disappear".😆 But I've no idea if Riley is one of those teams.

Let us be realistic, there are teams that aren't 100% legit and sometimes they get used to launder money. But same happens at lower tier football (soccer) clubs, top tier football (soccer) clubs with untraceable foreign money, F1 got his fair share of very shady sponsors and team owners like Jean-Pierre Van Rossem (Brilliant Belgian fraud)...

EDIT: Riley is from Olaf Haazen, Kevin Strijbos his brother-in-law. I guess that a lot of the "Green Dutch Stuff" rumors come from the fact that in 2023 they worked with Jef Janssen (JimmyJoe Riding Factory). Back around 2016 I estimate he got caught while transporting a few kilo Weed/Hash from Holland to Germany. He served his punishment and afterwards he just started working in the scene again for teams such as Hostettler Yamaha racing, Riley, Schmicker Racing,...

A few months before he took his youth team to the next level, to a MXGP team if I'm not mistaken...

"In the MX scene, rumors spread that the Dutch MX Team Jimmy Joe Yamaha, led by team manager Jef Janssen, would be ceasing operations. In Fürstlich-Drehna, there were solid reports.

It was confirmed at the MX Masters in Fürstlich-Drehna that the closure of Jimmy Joe Yamaha was more than just a rumor. This surprising news came along with the team switch of the two Jimmy Joe riders, Mike Stender and Jaap Corneth!

While the German MX2 champion found a spot with Michael Peters' Castrol Suzuki Team, the Dutchman Corneth is set to ride internationally for the Yamaha team of former world champion David Philippaerts. At the Masters race in Drehna, the 20-year-old Dutchman competed in the Youngster Cup on his Yamaha and impressed with a fifth-place finish in the day's standings.

Behind the team's dissolution likely lies a delicate matter. According to unconfirmed reports from the Netherlands and the German police, former team manager Jef Janssen was arrested by police two weeks ago during a traffic stop on the A2 near Hanover, with more than 5 kilograms of marijuana in his vehicle.

All those names where/are team owners as well BT Racing/Hutten Metaal/Eggens Racing, all sponsored by Jumbo, only one who’s missing is the owner of the Riley Racing Team in this story. His team got down as well with the Jumbo investigation. But seems like Kawasak will invest some money for 2025. Which is good for the MX scene, hopefully the Jumbo stuff won’t effect the effort from Kawasaki.

F&H never had Jumbo logos on the gear or bikes afaik. With the money numbers mentioned in the article posted a few posted earlier (2.3 million for Hutten Yamaha) it would be weird if F&H would receive this kind of money without offering visibility (i think the fiscal department would have some questions if you sponsor these amounts without anything in return).

They have also never been mentioned in newsreports, which if they somehow would have been involved very likely they would have been mentioned since they are a much bigger company then Hutten is. Hutten is mentioned quite often in this case, also about their accountant.

Ah ok did not hear/know taht about SM. As for Riley i don't think the stories have much to do with the trainer but more with the team just dissappearing after a couple of GP's in '23.

Some rumours and linking things together

- Forato to stay on Honda, Guillod is leaving SR Honda

- Haarup to race in USA and develop 450 Triumph in 2025, coming back to MXGP with them in 2026

- VRT shutting their doors as official EMX250 Yamaha program, F&H interested, but keen to have the Ducati program in 2026

- Bonarcorsi to Wilvo (not sure if mentioned in this thread)

- Farres signed at Triumph (yes!!)

- Gariboldi will expand HRC MX2 program. Heard some rumours of Lata ending up there

They seemed to have some troubles, but just got an update from a pilots agent that they have found solutions and will be back in 2025.

Where is Guillod going? Heard rumors about WZ Racing..

What is Mewse his plan? Back in GPs next year? Would make the most sense since his “turn around” this year.

Think Mewse will continue on the same deal he’s had for the last two years but with hopefully more opportunity to race more GP’s

Dutch won’t make any sense. Only 3 races.  Cool for being a side hustle but not ur main focus. Maybe combine some local championships.   But he belongs in the gp paddock in my eyes.!

He showed some real speed this year.  Only he has to bring his gb speed overseas..  then he could be a 7-12 guy I think.   He ripped at the nations and at the British rounds

Historically yes. But I do think that racing Herlings this year has unlocked something in him that has been missing for a long time. His riding at Matterley was amazing, if he can continue that he’s way better than a 15th place guy

Way too many chances at GP level, no overseas teams will put their money into him now.

Racing on home soil is completely different to racing abroad. Let’s be honest, he’s done nothing at the top level, I can’t see it changing now. He’ll dominate the British Championship for years to come because the series has no talent.

Not saying anyone will put their money into him to do GP’s full time, but if he carries on his current deal and does the occasional GP here and there I think he can make a good showing.

I think talent wise British is pretty much on par with most national series around Europe to be honest, with the exception of Germany. It’s missing the numbers but MX2 in particular this year was pretty strong

Historically yes. But I do think that racing Herlings this year has unlocked something in him that has been missing for a long time. His riding at Matterley was amazing, if he can continue that he’s way better than a 15th place guy

Way too many chances at GP level, no overseas teams will put their money into him now.Racing on home soil is completely different to racing abroad...

What would he prove and/or gain by doing any GP's? It certainly isn't the mountains of prize money available, if anything it'll cost him/someone else thousands. Spend that money an go race some Canadian Nationals, mix it up a bit and experience something different. Lars van Berkel did and got an offer off a team! (I think?)

Why would he want a ride in Canada probably on less money than he’s on already?
