I think Karma is going to get him next year. Won’t be able to go next year due to losing the outdoor championship or something.

Hard to believe USA literally could have won if Deegan bothered to show up, if I was an American I'd be kinda pissed

Keep cashing those Deegan checks though….

Hint: Star didn't say they wouldn't send a rider unless it was a guaranteed win. They said they would not invest unless it was reasonable to do so.

Hint: Star did not fund Antsie's effort.

Give up. It’s not Star’s fault your boy dodges it, this year or last year.

Doesn’t deserve its own thread so I’m just posting it in the most recent Deegan thread but this dude really must have the thinnest skin in the game. Like bro, you’re arguably the best 250 rider on the planet at the moment, why you gotta create conspiracies on instagram meme pages because people make jokes about your clownish behavior at times?

IMG 0272 0

This is rediculous.  They just need to lay low, get surgery, and come back winning.  All the negativity is their own fault for just not shutting up.

First post, but I’ve been lurking for a while so I have read all of the Deegan drama.

Deegan is what pulled me back into the sport because he kept making headlines on social media, and I thought it was cool Brian’s son is a legit badass. He is good for the sport for that reason.

I think this whole situation speaks for itself though, it’s not a good look imo. Had they handled it better it wouldn’t bother me, because I actually think it was the right decision to give him the best shot a 250 sx title before he goes to 450. He should have said from the get go that he was out this year, instead they tried to find a way to spin it where it wasn’t his choice and it backfired.

I will still enjoy watching him rip though.

So you admit Star didn’t say they wouldn’t support the team if they didn’t think they could win? Like Judge Judy says, “if you tell the truth you don’t need to keep your story straight”.

Brian said it on IG last year. Does that count?

First they are too broke, now won’t go if can’t win. That’s not Star but it’s something a Deegan would say.

The fact Tomac stepped aside before the team was picked blows all of DNGR’s cover to shit.

Deegan is absolutely set to be a fixture on the US team for many years. He's still very young, there's no need to rush into it. Sure he could have come over this time and would have likely done very well, but it is what it is. He'll be a mainstay of the US team in the future.

I heard Deegan didn't go because they wouldn't let his videographer on the start with him.

Maybe, yeah. he needed 4 spots better than Webb. So he would have had to finish 5th in moto 2 which means beating De Wolf. Definitely possible but I wouldn't say it's a given that he beats him.

If Deegan was there, we win, hands down. Whelp, there is always next year...

As a fan of moto in general, I'm glad to see the Lawerence boys get AUS their first one. I wanted that more for them than I wanted the USA to win after the team drama coming in. Yesterday was storybook stuff for those boys. They deserve it.

What's clear here is that you didn't watch the pulpmx episode with Jeremy Coker. Jeremy explicity said that Star Racing supports the MXoN, thst they always have and always will.

The rest of your repeated rubbish isn't worth addressing  since it's already been refuted ad nauseam.  Talking with anti-Deegan nuts is like talking with flat earthers; you live in your own reality apart from the one that actually exists.

Hello

I never said Star Yamaha doesn’t support the MXDN. I’ve said the opposite.

Are you ok?

Hint: They had 3 bikes being raced by two countries teams yesterday.

The Deegans have said Star didn’t support the race.

Where did the Deegans specifically say that?

Specific links and timestamps please with them saying specifically what you are stating.  Not what your interpretation of what they said was, them stating exactly what you are saying.

You are clearly very, very invested in this so I'm sure you have all the exact details and information ready.

If you can't produce this, I am left to assume that you are just a liar with an agenda.

Prove me wrong.  Back up what you are saying with factual information.

Deegan looks dumb for not going. They could have won with him there. Could have been there best chance to win for a long while. Outside of Deegan we don’t have an obvious future prospect that can race with the big dogs.

As of right now he doesn’t deserve to be on the team next year imo.

I listened to the interview. RV softened up about Deegan with him on-air and let him go with the explanation he has been consistently giving. Previously RV was disagreeing with RC and thought Deegan should have stepped up and gone.

My position in the other threads was that time is fleeting; if Deegan is genuinely hurt next year (as opposed to scheduled surgery for hardware removal), then he may never be on a 250 again. A shame for us as spectators, but I can both disagree and respect his decision. Both decisions have consequences.

Does Chase deserve to be on the team then since he couldn’t go either?

Paul333, was thinking the same thing.

Deegs fanboy totally lost track of the excuses the last few years and ended up flip flopping their argument to the point that they now agreed with what you had said earlier...LoL.

One clear cut story is that USA did fantastic without deegs and props to each of them stepping up, but we coulda won had deegs spent as much time racing for his country in the mxon as he did making up various excuses to avoid going.

I heard Deegan didn't go because the contract with his instagram marketing firm didn't extend outside of the US, so he wouldn't be able to post any content. Should be fine for Ironman MXDN 2025 though

Deegan bitched out. He’s been pounding that wrist all year. Pulling that hardware later wouldn’t have hurt him. Everyone knows this. He’s not racing because he didn’t want to. If he said he wanted to go, Star would have rolled out the red carpet. He’s more worried about not wrapping up a 250SX title this year.

Let’s just move on. This has been beat dead.
