The main thing I want to see is Jett vs Prado on starts.  The rest of it, meh.

Edit: edited for correct year!

First year of production rule was 86, and that's the year Johnny went on a tear at the MXoN in Italy because he was pissed at Honda for letting him go.

Yep, I got the year wrong, but did post the video showing the correct year.

That race showed rider ability and motivation makes more difference than the bike, something that is not good for the manufacturer's marketing campaigns when they release new models.

going to be a lot of disappointment if we have all this build up just for Jett to get a holeshot and hold a 3 second lead over Prado. Then we would all speculate if Jett was trying or if Prado ran out of time...

I'm not silly or smart enough to make a full prediction but I won't be at all surprised if team Aus end up with some sort of shitty luck that will affect our result somewhere during the weekend haha

But nah either way it's my favourite weekend of the year

Unfortunately, it's always some shitty thing that keeps us from the top step.

Didn't Plessinger beat Hunta at a lot of the nationals?

He beat Hunter in 6 out of 22 motos.

Hunter has a small advantage over AP for sure.  Jett has an even smaller advantage over a fresh Eli.

It's  Europe and MXON, Hunter has a massive advantage over Aaron.

I think Slovenia will surprise some people and go top 5. Pancar is underrated.

Just thinking about how damn good a  team of deegan, Tomac, Sexton team could have been this year.  Would have been the first time in awhile where am three Americans could have won their class.

This USA team will be fun to watch.  But man, that team could have been something special.

Maybe.  Tomac and Sexton didn’t win their classes at home in 2022.

You know what’s funny in my era  like 20 years ago the Dutch where not the favourite ever. But I believe the USA where the favourites always on any mxon. So what has changed the Dutch are going for world titles now…so I say the Dutch are going for the win this year also

So Euros can use works bikes they have perfected all year that we do not have access to here in our race series.

The US has won more than anyone else; the majority of those wins were on bikes that came under the production rule.  It’s not an issue.

Of course it's an issue. If a rider can race a custom made frame, efi package, or engine, compared to one that has to compromise with mods to production stuff it is huge. Otherwise the Euros would all use production based stuff as well, which they don't.

Vialle choosed his US bike last year at MXoN.

The Euros have a more strictly fuel rule btw.

I am hoping for Ireland to qualify, if that happens, I'd be thrilled
