Eli is out of championship contention now. But he can still end Jetts streak… unless someone does it before he lines up.
Not long ago he wasn’t expected to compete at all. Its disappointing he will miss a few races and not really be in the title fight. But we still get to see him try to make life harder on Jett.
Perfection is extremely difficult. But when you have 35 minutes to get to the front on wide open, multiple line National tracks it is likely. I'm really hoping Chase is in top form and has something for Jett. Sx is what's fresh in people minds and they've seen the crashes and mistakes by Jett indoors. That's not Jett outdoors. He's been on the 450 a whole year now. He's going to put a whupping on these guys. If I'm being honest, Tomac would have been racing with Sexton not Jett

In a gatedrop interview Herlings said that he is glad that he doesn't have to race Jett at this point in his career. I doubt we will see him racing a full series in the US, even though that that was his plan a couple years ago. No shot we see him ever race the whole series in the US with Jett and Prado there in the future lmao.

As a Tomac fan and now a Jett fan I think the absolute vast majority would be disappointed that we are robbed of this battle.

But do you really belive that 2024 Tomac would have been a tougher threat to Jett than 2024 Sexton?.
No. I thought their might be a couple motos where Eli was feeling it and we might see something special. But for the most part it was going to be Jett and Sexton. One of Jett's greatest strengths is Eli's biggest weaknesses, starts. "Beast mode" came about from Eli being back in 15th and charging to the front. Nobody is running down Jett. You have to start with him to have a chance or hope he gets a bad start.
