Pourcel pretty much puts the GPs and thier riders on blast. Races are boring and too long, Musquin is just "pretty good" and would have a tough time getting top 5 here because "everybody" is good, GP riders are smooth and not aggressive, Had no interest in racing the event, KTMs are way better than the other factory bike over there but not here, Not very impressed with Herlings and Roczen.

Interesting. What do ya think GP cheerleaders?

Think this comment sums it up -

Hes entitled to his opinion but Im glad the GPs have two days racing, im glad they have longer motos and if Christoph gets bored and wants to be negative about everything then tough titties. He wasnt exactly bubbling over with praise about Hangtown, but Im sure DC will press on with lifeSmile

' I think the track (Hangtown) wasn’t good at all. It was just one line everywhere. Even if I finished in the top 10 or whatever on a good track I would be happy because I gave it my best, but when you follow someone the whole race and you cannot even pass him even when you’re faster than him, it sucked.'

Grinning You tit.

So Steve Cox and Christophe Pourcel didnt particularly enjoy the GP... it seems that everybody else that attended did. Christophe is just being Christophe, he speaks his mind and probably gets a little kick out of being controversial at times - which you guys have fallen for many times. Im not saying Pourcel isnt speaking the truth from his perspective, but you shouldn't always hang off every word a professional says.

Im not, I was just curious as to what the GP cheerleaders thought of the comments coming from a former top GP rider. His comments werent just about the GH GP, but what about his comments about the GPs and thier riders/bikes?

Maybe he doesnt care for Musquin as a person/competitor and made those comments to piss him off?

Maybe he just knows he is better than Roczen and Herlings to not be impressed with thier skills and wants everyone to know about it?

Maybe he knows that KTM is a far superior bike than the other factories over there? Maybe it is the bike that makes Musquin better? but at the same time he thinks that bike wouldnt be as good here?

Or maybe he is just being the complete DBag like we all know he is and just talking out of his ass because he thinks he is better than everyone and since he is here that this is the place to be?

Is he saying that the KTM's are better than what he is ridding cause CLS Kawsaki is running PC motors? (You can debate if CLS actually has the same equipment) Personally I think Musquin's bike is better than the American PC bikes and next year is going to be interesting IMHO.

I love how Pourcel gets to some of you guys. Makes it so much better when he wins!

Also notice he gave Tomac credit where it was due.

I agree with you there, wonder how good the equipment they send to them there is. I don't think Mitch would just want to send his best stuff over there for somebody else to tear open and take a look at. Only round I think i can be sure they had the best equipment would maybe be the USGP The bikes they brought were their own and i noticed had hanny's and weimer's hubs on em. I would think for his home race Mitch wouldn't want any slack in effort. I could very easily be wrong though.

Well, he is either a DBag or he speaks the truth. He is not the class clown or has that type of personality, so to make those comments as a joke failed. If him raggin on the GPs and thier riders and then give props to Tomac make is soo much better for you when he wins, then I hope he keeps winning Wink

I noticed he didn't care for the GH track, or the Hangtown track, OR Freestone either.

This constant shit talking about the GP just amazes me, if you don't care for it, DON"T GO OR WATCH IT.

Pretty simple isn't it?

Yep, Pourcel should have just stayed home or done something else rather than be bored off his ass watching a GP.

Great interview! Def starting to get his humor. He is a superior rider to anyone in MX2, maybe MX1 too, and he knows it. He's ultra confident, get over it. Would you rather he spit out the cookiecutter shit "The track was great, He's a wonderful rider, blah, blah, blah". Liking this guy more and more. Predict domination this weekend

Thats cool that he states his opinions of the tracks. Nothing wrong with that. Every week one person likes the track and another doesnt. Its ok to be confident and cocky, but why talk shit about the top MX2 GP guys and then turn around and give Tomac props?

HAHA! Great anology. Hey he doesnt think much of the MX2 class. Should he lie and say "So and so is so great!" He would wax Marvin and he knows it. I love the arrogance, just hate that he's a frog!

Because someone asked his opinion.

One of the few riders who's interviews I even bother to read. I guess you like RD's sugar coated happy happy super pumped interviews.

Funny how you're 'starting to get his humour' as soon as his attention is switched his away from anything personal towards you and your opinion (read USA superiority).

The one thing I've learned since being a member of this forum is how unbelievably fickle some American fans can be. Its laughable sometimes.

So he is either a joker like Preston, or he is just stating his honest opinion about the GPs and the riders.

Pourcel has a very dry humor. He is a mystery and his interviews are hard to decipher between truth and joking. He was doing both in that interview but its up to us to interpret which parts are which.

Well, the only humor I could decipher from that interview was the Red Bull sign collapsing, The weather, and possibly the KTM bikes being better to mess with Mitch.

To me though it seems he is serious about the MX2 class being boring, races are too long, track wasnt as good as the National, Wasnt impressed with Herlings and Roczen, and defintely doesnt care for Musquin.
