They could not do an x-ray on Chase's hand last night or this morning?
Yup I was there in the pits when the truck with the crates came in with a police escort and somehow they had a bike in practice not long after. I wanna say it was under a half hour from when the crates went by until I saw Antonio Cairoli out on the track. He had a rough weekend . And the battle everybody was expecting with RV never happened.
The Irish team had brough race gas over in paint cans. After the race they poured the leftovers into my generator and said it should give me a few extra watts. They also left a full gallon of it. I had never smelt anything like it before then. I think it was Elf race fuel.
Someone tell JS7 to strap up some boots and get back to practicing. Naw, I’m Jk. That would be super sick though

Man talk about crunch time. Lots of balls in the air needing last minute critical decisions on. Starting with full and thorough evaluation of Chases health. That could takes days under ordinary circumstances.
Hopefully air freight gets though customs quicker than shipping. Anyone who has gone to 6 days knows there’s a 50% chance the US container arrives on time and it leaves 3 months before the race.
I'm more off a read only member here on the forum but on this one i would like to know why do they need to build/ship those bikes to europe in the first place ?
since they are all on factory teams in the US why dont they just use some bikes from the MXGP teams ? Would bring the costs down and no stress with all the shipping, customs sh*t .... Just send the mechanis a few days earlier to europe with some key parts like suspensions, etc... so they can build the bikes here in Europe ....
I hope Sexton can still make it and otherwise i hope Tomac steps up to replace so team USA is represented, i'm going to the MXON for the first time in over 5 years again so hope to see some USA based riders over there, its what makes this event so special for me the battle between MXGP/AMA riders so the more represent the better.
Nah man, this is not the answer. Vet MXoN maybe, still wouldn’t be my 1st choice.
Night and day difference in the outrage here on vital with Tomac choosing not to race in the past. Compared to Deegan. Not even close with the anger, name calling, and people telling Deegan he can no longer be patriotic. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I hear you Michael and I appreciate the feedback and list of riders.
Despite having a short list of riders that are now injured, the entire process is starting way too late. The earlier you plan, more contingencies can be made.
BTW, I would take Phil because he would scare the crap out of everybody on the line.
The bikes are just too different. It may seem like they’re racing the same bike; but, the differences are many and more complex than would make sense in a brief explanation.
At this level the riders have a lot of confidence in “their” bike that’s set-up by their people and that’s what they want to race.
Didn't Herlings wax an AMA field on a bike bought off Craiglist or something ? Seriously though it was a borrowed bike with his suspension . You'd think if push came to shove they could do their best to make it work .
Canards bike with JH suspension and exhaust i believe
During the podcast mashup this weekend, JS7 mentioned he does still ride… Took everyone by surprise
Nah there was definitely a large amount of outrage for a couple years with Tomac saying no. Kawi took a large chunk of that blame away as well when they started announced that they wouldn't do overseas MXoNs anymore, so the outrage towards Eli himself kind of stopped since he was already counted out of the running due to his team. Its just been quite a few years since it was officially his decision to skip it so you may have forgotten the negative feelings people had behind it.
He needs to start filming him riding. I want to see him riding different bikes like Carson Brown does.
Just combine Team Puerto Rico and the US Team into one….
lol, how many times was he coming back only to have his back injury flare up? He’s not racing competitively again
Pit Row
Deegan on 250(ask him again, he can do east coast 2025SX).
If Deegan went, the mx world would lose its mind.
Eli, Webb, Deegs. At least start healthy. How much is the MXGP streaming to get MXDN coverage? I’ll send it to Star Yamaha instead.
at least all of this wont be an issue next year....
Plessinger looked fast yesterday, and sounds like he worked hard to get back, moving in with doc G during the week. Hopefully Eli steps up, then they have the top 3 Americans from the last smx moto.
$29 i think
Given that Tomac came back at the end of outdoors saying he wanted to go to The Nations, I don’t see a reason why he would say no, given how he’s riding, given that he’s the only option. Vlaanderen’s bike isn’t in use, I’m sure something can be worked out, even if time is tight.
Apparently Webb's bike hasn't been shipped yet, so they could maybe put Eli's bike in there.
If Webb’s bike hasn’t been shipped yet they could also consider the option of moving him back to 450 and bringing more riders into the equation.
My brother was having a conversation with Zach on Instagram last week, and he said he'd love to go, but flat out admitted he just doesn't have the speed. I'm pretty sure that's why he backed out of the outdoor race he was thinking about doing this summer, too.
He’d be in the way after the start but could you imagine the content we’d get out of him postponing his retirement to race MXON. It would be golden. lol
