This dude is borderline psychotic. I watch 1 minute worth every once in a while. His obsession with the Coombs family is frightening. Dude needs to lay off the makeup. I can’t watch for a second and not think of sloth from goonies with that droopy eye. Rejected from the industry, divorced and looking for attention. Poor guy is just starving for attention and with a little “mob” he’s got himself now, kinda reminds me of the movie Benchwarmers.  You feel sorry for them but at the end of the day, they are just retarded.

I recall that back in the day when he was trying to make his way into the top level of MotoCross/SuperCross journalism that Matthes brought him on his show and gave him the benefit of the PulpMX platform. All Cooksey did was run roughshod over everyone on the show, Matthes, industry guests, riders; non could get a word in edgewise! Not to mention his bizaro takes on every topic. I could not stand him from the get go; if it was an old time stage act you would have seen the big hook coming out from stage left. Sadly the man has progressively gone farther towards the LUNATIC FRINGE!

Say/think what you want but he's not that far off base IMO, the coombs family have for years bled this industry and the fan base for money. The claimgate at LL"s a couple years back is a prime example. Davey runs a monopoly of sorts in the this industry with racerx and mxsports that obviously runs the nationals and gncc. I'm a nothing nobody but I don't support anything that the coombs family does, I don't watch racerx on YT, I don't buy racerx mag, I don't attend nationals and I don't race gncc even though I've raced offroad for 25yrs and I won't ever race a gncc. IMO the coombs family views people like us as a bunch of suckers with open wallets, just look at the BS fees they charge at LL's for example.
