BT, Cairoli and Desalle were faster. Mike seemed to be trying pretty hard too.

BT pulled a 40 minute long Haka on the field during the second moto, that is what happened.

Regardless if he should, he did a great job and he really fought for it. He should be proud of his riding! Alessi and BT will be two confident riders next weekend!

He tried hard in the second moto. I think the heat got him. It has been quite cool here, today was very warm.

no, AC faster and smarter and had more than 3rd gear the second moto.

BT 101 is a bad ass as we already know,...Mikey got spooked and could not deliver over the long haul.

It'll be a long AMA season,,..Mikey has got to dig deep.

No worries, Mikey got 2nd! Which, as we all know, is the first loser...ouch.

Mike looked to me like he kind of threw in the towel in the last 4 or 5 laps. He wasn't going to win the moto or the overall, and I don't know if he was all that jazzed about fighting it out with Cairoli and Desalle and maybe screw them up when they're fighting for points in a series he's not riding.

Desalle looked crazy fast....then looked like he got tired....then looked crazy fast. WTF?
5/30/2010 6:34pm
I am sure he went in to it with the attitude that he was going to walk all over those guys. When you don't prepare mentally you're as good as dead. Cairolli is a badass...I didn't watch the 2nd moto either but by the look of it from the 1st moto, AC had Alessi in check.

That would never serve as a reason for Alessi to go easy. But it might well work as a good excuse for poor performance.

couldn't disagree more, he knows what AC can do.

Plus he has his own series to worry about.

Alessi thinks he's faster than he is... And he is quick, but only from the front...

If he doesn't holeshot and hide he ain't gonna out fight someone for a win... that's pretty much proven...

Actually, after the race he said that his primary goal this weekend was to not get hurt before Texas.

yer the man guyb...if you don't like the truth pull the trigger son. mike alessi's potential is only held back by dad, if you want to place me in the same box as DV and Roger D and DB then go ahead...go ahead and slice their nuts too guyb. i would be proud...but then again that would be the same box you reside in too...no?

So, does this mean the Euros are better than the "C" class racers people on here say they are? I'm confused. Oh wait, nevermind. It just proves how clueless most of the "fans" on here are.

Until Stewart starts racing the Nationals and Villo comes back, the Nationals are the B class. Sorry, but those are the facts.
