anyone else catch during Moto 1,Will mentioned that Tomac said he knows when he’s ready to come back from an injury to race when he’s able to do Hour and 40 min motos at home at race pace. That’s insane!

What gas tank is he running? 🤣
I thought she said once he can do a 40-minute moto at home at race pace he knew he was ready to race again. He would run out of gas long before an hour and forty minutes of motoing down.
Went back to listen, she definitely says a one-hour forty-minute moto and then says a one-forty moto.

Oversized gas tank maybe? Not unheard of when we talking outdoor motocross racing.. Brand new motor everytime he rides more than likely. I mean it’s Eli Tomac and Star Racing Yamaha.. I believe it.

Nah I don’t, but did you know the earth is actually shaped like a pear?
Those tanks hold 1-2 liters extra, that will never get you as long as the given numbers here.
Still not doing an 100 minute moto on his ffreshest race or pracitice bike with one tnk of gas. Even their ssouthwick tank was close to empty at the end of 30 +2 their.
If hes doing a 100 min moto hes stopping ggetting the gas filled ttwice proably swapping out gloves goggle and helmet. Mmaybe a quick clicker change, some hydration drink and going right backout.
Ok so let’s assume then he comes in to refuel one time during that session which would take a minute or two if that.. Tomac has 4 450 outdoor championships, 2 450 Supey championships and 3rd all time winningest rider 96 total wins to his name, he’s 2 wins away from tying with Stewart who has 98 wins. Tomac trains alone and is very silent about what he does at home, but notice how he’s opening up now and doing more interviews towards the end of his career.

Will says "hour forty", then "one forty". I'm guessing that Eli actually said (1) 40 minute moto at race pace.
That makes sense since it's beyond the length of an outdoor moto.
