What are some of your most memorable jumps? What track and did the jump have a unique name?

The Elevator at Gatorback stands out to me.

So many memories. I remember first time I someone jump it was the '96 national. It was the biggest jump I'd ever seen. I remember imagining 'what if that same jump was a lip to lip double'. I had hear rumors after that of RC hitting it on an 80, getting a run from the field to make it. Sometime after that, the jump had shrunk down a bit, and I think moved over one lane? But eventually it was nothing to see Bubba or Davi and a handful of others 80s bust it out.
Other memories of Tyson Hadsell revving the (new back then) 4stroke to the moon. Thinking "damn, that bike is loud".
I was behind Darrol Lynn when his throttle stuck on the face (in the mud) and he went 3/4 of the way up and tried to bail for the top. He didnt make it.
Pictures of John Dowd caving in his front wheel. I think that might have been '96 also.
Or how about seeing the harescramble guys hit it with bark busters and camelbacks.
Then the day it no longer existed. And those who witnessed it forever belonging to a special club. I'm not in the club for people who jumped it. That's the one and only jump club I've ever respected enough to not belong to.
Pastrana was jumpin the length of the GA Dome floor in 2 jumps that night. It was incredible. He would have easily won that night if he didnt have the flu. That night was the beginning of the end for Pastrana. But me and my dad still talk about how Pastrana was hitting that section.

Unadilla's sky top table jump always gives the spectators their monies worth of MX entertainment.

Other than Larocco's Leap, the down hill quad at the 96 MxdN at Jerez, Spain. It was so big the promoters took out the middle two jumps, but MC, Fro and Lamson still hit it. I still have the Motocross Journal mag that has the photos.

Yeah it was in that vid of Fro I posted earlier in the week. My jaw dropped when I saw it.

Bailey's style always looked so effortless back then. Donnie Hansen was liked that too back then. Neither one of them ever looked like they were going faster than the guys they flew by. I remember when I first Jeff Ward doing that Saddleback double and it looked so huge. Now you'd probably see 65 cc riders hucking it no problem.

Although it didn't go down in history, the finish line jump at the 2008 MXdN was pretty spectacular...

A couple huge ones here. Anyone have the video where they were quading this triple double at GL's?

JW381 thanks for that Saddle Back vid. I sure miss the sound of those 500's. Nothing like it, when they were going up a hill under a load.
