Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
The bike he will ride outdoors is the bike that won the MXGP World Title last years, this year in SX he did not only ride a brand new bike, the bike he rode was a brand new model with no SX experience, plus he looked strong later in the year in SX, mentally he's in a different place than last year when he had Jett alongside him in the truck, he will be much better in MX, remember he was able to match Eli Tomac in points going into the final moto in 2022.
But Chase himself said he was going even faster in 2023 MX....
Last year he was on the same bike as the one that won the -23 US nationals..
He will switch to Yamaha or Kawasaki once this contract is up. Once his confidence is back he will get back to winning.

I keep seeing this thread title but haven’t read it.
”Sexton era”, really?
There was one?(Stripes quote)
It’s just a fact that when it comes to Sexton it won’t matter what a bike has done before or doing now since he demand different things than other riders.
Jett and Prado ride simular and are neutral on the bike, while Chase push his front end super hard.
Remember last year when Chase was on the Honda in SX what a useless bike that was according to many members in here.
Well, that same bike looks pretty damn good with the right rider on it.
So saying that he is on the same bike that Prado won on don’t mean shit since they don’t ride the same.
This thread’s been awfully quiet…
Probably similar to the Reed/Carmichael era - Sexton will get his titles, just probably not when Jett is around.
Probably 200 posts in here that have aged VERY POORLY.
They all get hurt or will get hurt at some point. That often decides who wins the titles. Jett only made it one National season without getting hurt. He probably would have won the title this year. Chase rides on the edge. The front runners all do. Good bit of luck involved.
Shows you what an amazing accomplishment it was for Tomac to win three in a row. I don't know if there is another sport like ours where the high risk of injury determines the outcome so often.
RC4 was just a freak of Nature but even he missed one SX series due to getting hurt.
You summed it up perfectly! 👍
Toughness plays a roll. YOu can be the fastest, smooth as hell, blah blah.
I said it long time ago. WHo can take the hits and keep going forward.
#4 has proven he is tough as nails takes the hits and back the next weekend for more.
Champions and Championships are won by being fast, durable, and be able to finish every time.
SO why is there a question at all the man standing at the end of the day and a finish wins over injuries every time.
it's the nature of the sport
and yes i am extremely bias.
His dad posted this on face book yesterday, and said "This sums it up" and well it sure the hell does.
I hope Jett comes back and gives him fits again lol
I know Chase earned and deserves his titles, but he’s been the beneficiary of others’ bad luck too many times. He’ll probably be getting an SMX title now too
“Bad Luck” or riding over their head?
Gotta be in it to win it. Dungey won plenty when RV was hurt. Doesn’t mean those titles aren’t deserved. Jett would’ve won this year if he was healthy but he wasn’t. Chase was. Simple as that
The same can be said of Jet's two 450 titles - did Jet face a full field of healthy riders! (Rhetorical questions so don't answer)
Every fanboy can claim the rider they didn't want to win should have an asterisk next to their Championship. The nature of the sport
Pit Row
Riding over their head?
Forkner, maybe.
Eli randomly tearing an Achilles while leading?
Cooper getting whacked in the head tipping over in a corner?
That was straight up bad luck, and Sexton jumped right into those Championships (as he should)
He also took #3 down to the wire two years ago in what will go down as the best championship season of Eli's career.
Yep…. A little TiGa vs JH84 for example.
I’m right on que somewhat
There was an RC era followed by the RV era and hasn’t really been one since.
Agreed... He did it at The Wick and didn't need to do it more because Jett hurt himself in practice. That's what happens in moto to most, injuries are part of the sport. Very few in history have done what RC4 did. That's why he is the GOAT.
Chase has raised his level and is closer now to Jett... And Prado certainly spices it up for next year.
Gotta give credit where credit it due to this cat. ^^
How can people talk crap about the rider who just won the title…..in convincing fashion?
Looks to me like the Sexton era could be very long.
Sorry, thats Kurt Nicolls " spot".
Because of the obvious; the guy that went 22-0 past him last year wasn't there. This crap talk will persist until Chase beats a healthy Jett for a title. It's not fair but people are still debating Villopoto vs Dungey on the same merits. I think all of these top guys are fighters; nobody wants a perceived "gimme" title.
Correct, he was losing to Jett until Jett got hurt. Acting like this is a passing of the torch or something is wholly innaccurate
He definitely pulled through and has looked great since jett went out. They both now have 1 sx title and 1 mx title, with jett having the smx title over chase. Smx is next up so if chase wins theyll be all tied up in total 450 championships and were off to the races going into sx. Its going to be a lot of fun from here.
In my own personal opinion I think its still obvious that were in the jett era, as chase won his sx title before jett moved up and once jett moved up he beat chase in mx, sx, smx, and was leading the mx championship and race when he got injured on the downhill triple. So jett is 3-1 vs chase in 450 championships and has frankly dominated chase thus far. The fun part though is chase looks incredible right now and is definitely in a position to win smx with jett having hardly any time on the bike. If that happens going into sx its going to be incredible to watch. Cant wait!
Post a reply to: Could the Sexton era already be over?
