Rookies this weekend

Will Drew Adams  finish with a better overall then KR94 ? 

No, but I’m sure some will disagree with me.

I wouldn't be surprised to see either one of them end up in the top 5.

probably not.  I'm expecting Kenny to be around 7-11th.  Adams for sure has 5-10th speed, but those guys are gnarly for 35 min.  Wouldn't be surprised if he got 5th or 15th.

My expectations -

Kenny- 5-7th

Drew- 8-12th

Total crap shoot, but we will see how it goes

I don't think Adams will be in the top 10, but I hope he comes out and does something big. It's been a while since we have seen a rookie win on their debut. 

Is Cole Davies racing?

This is where I am for both.  Drew needs to stop growing now!  An NBA tall Benny Bloss was a fast LL winning amateur whose size held him back as a professional 250cc rider.  I hope Drew can avoid this and live up to his potential.

He's racing the combine, not the Pro National.

Well it's only ever happened once so it's been a minute and it's rare AF. Tomac 09 is it right? 

Gee you would have to think Kenny gets a top 5.

I expect Adams to be top 5.

I believe Adams is another next big thing similar to Deegan, 5-8th  

10th-15th...

I think Adams has the capability to finish top five, but his starts will hold him back. Who knows, maybe the PC bike will help his starts. I say 6-10. Top 5 for Kenny. 

Better yet, will Deegan show up to win at all costs?  Or just have a mellow race day with the championship already in his pocket?  I would give anything to see Roczen holeshot and watch the kids chase him all day long and see who rises to the occasion, and who sinks.  It is almost kind of a bummer it is the last race of the year, cruise control definitely tends to set in for this one.

Prob nit a fair cimprison but adams wain't a whole lit faster then benoit. MCrabb smoved benoit in 23. Mcnabb was 15 to 20th until he got hurt. Food for thought..This is my last post.Spell chec is fucked   

Excited for Adams

I’ve got $10 on a holeshot in the first moto and to run in the top 6 for the first 5 laps, maybe 1/2 to the halfway point.

We’ve seen rookies with a lot of hype come out swinging because they haven’t had their confidence shaken yet.

Josh Grant, Zach Osborne, Austin Stroupe, Zack Bell,Eli Tomac, Justin Barcia, AC, list goes on.

All Adams (and the names above) have known is being “the guy” and their expectations haven’t shifted yet….then, either they start to run hot, have a tip over, or just get a bad second moto start and struggle to move through the field the way they could the previous 10-12 years of their racing career.

Going to be a fun weekend.


 

I can see Kenny winning a moto...he is a great starter and crafty vet.  I'll say 1-4 motos for Kenny and Drew will be coming through the pack both motos but show his speed and fitness.  I think his stamina is much better than most other rookies and shows in at least one of the motos, that he is next.  I'll say 8-3 for Adams.  

Looking forward to Adams' pro debut. If he rides like he did at LLs, he finishes top 10 overall, easily. In my humble opinion, bros.

I’m excited to see what damage Kenny can do in the first lap. Guy can slice through the pack like no other. Wonder if the unpredictable kids will ruin that for him.

I feel they are all going to Ironman with something to prove. Deegs being the champ will want to put a stamp on it, and chase down Kenny who will hole-shot and run away only to be caught with 2 laps to go. Drew will probably get a top 5 start and fight to stay with Kenny, but will also get passed late in the race to finish 3rd. But that's just Moto 1.

Unfortunately they will all beat Bennick. Damn shame he did much better last year than he has done this year with a full season outdoors. 

Yeah, I was expecting much better results this year, especially after him doing so well in SX and this being his second time around in the outdoors.
