Looks like until 9/30 you can finance a crf at American Honda for 60 months at 5.99%. Has anyone done 60 months at American Honda?

And please don’t comment to use your personal bank or financing toys is not a good idea or financing a dirt bike for 5 years yada yada. That just means you have little mans disease.  Thanks for the guys that actually help.

I used to finance my bikes and pay them off as quickly as possible. Now I’m in a better position to not have to do that. That rate and term is definitely higher than I would prefer but unless you’re living under a rock that’s where we’re at. Shop around for the lowest OTD even if you have to travel a bit. Take the deal if you don’t mind the payment and interest. Throw extra money at the principal when you can and go enjoy the ride.

Sheffield Finance was 1.9% 36 months (could have gone 48 months, but I wanted a shorter term) with no early payoff penalty (new Kawasaki)

Unfortunately I don't see Honda on their website, but it might be worth a call to them

Anytime you see a rate like that the Manufacturer is buying it down. This Honda deal is probably the same as is the KTM one (.99% I think). In KTM's case you give up some dealer rebates that they don't show on the KTM site.

Kawi is offering both the rebate and a low rate on some bikes which is pretty rare. It is almost always one or the other.

Makes sense, hard to pass up with all the perks they are tossing out right now on the Kawi

I was saving for a Kawasaki kx450 to pay cash. When they offered the rebate plus finance I did it. Very happy with my decision.

$2500 rebate no add ons(set up fee and othe crap) and  36 months at 1.95%

I've used the honda financing a couple of times. No issues and pretty smooth. Keep in mind that some credit unions etc will require you to keep collision insurance which will make their low interest rate much more expensive. Never had an issue with just keeping comprehensive using the Honda financing. People forget there's opportunity cost to paying cash for things Wink . Buy the bike.

When you come to vital asking for advice or opinions then don’t be upset when you get advice or opinions.

Who do you get just comprehensive from? Geico would only sell with collision, but I buy it anyway because it covers transportation (ie. if your bike falls out of your truck bed on the freeway or your trailer rolls, that’s collision coverage not comprehensive).

My Honda “X” that I got in the days of COVIDBIKEINSANITY…is 4 years old and has a ton of Baja miles on it. Honda currently has their 4.99% offer on that model. If $250/month helps people get a scooter and get out there? I think that’s a good thing…and let’s remember, qualifying for financing is a bit rougher these days.

I got some Kawasaki’s for 2% in 2021…that was $14,000 worth of “free money” in my way of thinking. Money has depreciated waaaay more than 2% since the summer of 2021…the money I had in savings/retirement & invest. accts has earned waaaay more than 2%…so, some of these offers aren’t a bad deal. Total interest paid on those bikes was under $700 combined.

I just went to the Honda site. It is across the board for 2024 and 2025 dirt bikes even the 50/110/125/150. 4.99% for 24-36 months.
