Just an FYI for other folks planning to head to England next year.  I noticed the MXON tickets are pretty expensive if you buy them after January 7th.  109 pounds or $139 if you buy the weekend tickets before January 7th, or 160 pounds/$204 if you buy them after.  Anyway, not sure if this is a ploy to get folks locked in early, or if tickets leading up to the event (and at the gate) will really be 160 pounds.  I went ahead and bought ours since I already have plane tickets.  We are going regardless of the team we send, but hoping we can put in a good showing next year!   https://my.weezevent.com/monster-energy-fim-mxon

Saw SD at the airport last week... should have asked him for a freebee...  A one day ticket to Sfoutside lands festival in SF last weekend was $226..

A weekend pass for the MXoN seems cheap to me...

Looking at what the prices were for 2022 Red Bud MXoN, Matterley only looks slightly more all things considered. Parking at Matterley is free.

otherwise, show me  where its £40 per day , ill be all over it

i know something for free , that i bet vets mxdn will have a better attendance than mxdn and mxdn will have the "worlds best riders " so what's that tell you

I certainly agree although the VMXDN prices have gone up a lot this year as well...

If you are a tax inspector, about $1.

Otherwise, too much.

Since the riders don’t get paid for this event. Where does all the money go? It seems shady that it’s so expensive to attend. Yet riders risk getting hurt with no compensation. Outside of vital moto fans don’t know this event even exists. Or even care about it.

Where do you think it goes? It goes back into Luongos pockets.

That’s not very patriotic of you to not go to support your team due to financial reasons.  Especially if you’ve ever waived your country’s flag

If it was sensibly priced , sure I would be patriotic and attend.

But as it isn't sensibly priced, I won't be.

(£120 Sunday only, not the £40 someone mentioned)

How about you, are you being patriotic , and going ?

Pizza delivery in Phx, AZ for the shit I like is $50-60...I guess people have to take a stand against something they feel is inappropriate financially

Damn, my delivery is usually under 2 euros

But back to the issue at hand

Just checked the pricing, 195 euros for the weekend admission. Doesn't include paddock. I had a plan to go, but since my staying and plane tickets both combined doesn't get on that high of a price, I will watch it on TV and hopefully can come and see my first supercross on 2025

Who cares?  He's running a business and you get to choose whether to spend money at his business or not.

And the racers and teams get to decide if they want to go race for free. While taking a risk of getting hurt.

This is a fair question.. It’s ok to care or be curious about it.

That also has nothing to do wit being mad his business makes money.  The teams don't have to go for that reason and many dont

Where did anyone say they were "mad" that someone's business makes money ?
