I thought Jack Chambers handled this quite well. Props to both of them shaking hands.

Valk was angry, but was alright once he cooled off. Chambers showed some amazing diplomacy. Fair play to them both.

This.. Hawkstone was as flat as it had ever been, with loads of chances to pass, and Valk could not get the job done, we said on the live stream that Chambers was riding a wide bike, but there were so many places he should have been able to make a move and didnt.

Chambers got wiped out in Moto one and needed to fight.. he did

Well done by Chambers to avoid any escalation there. Clearly the adrenaline/frustration got the better of Valk, but he calmed down quickly. Great learning lesson for both these young riders..

Awesome vlogs by Chambers by the way, have watched all of them so far. Looks like he enjoys Europe a lot, hopefully he will stick around for a few more years

When the moto was red flagged both Chambers and Walsh commented on how it was to pass.

Phil i read people say Hawkstone is too small for a GP nowadays. Do you reckon if the teams used the fly away set up it could happen?

If roles were reversed cas wouldve done the same thing. If i was Cas id be pissed too but Jack did nothing wrong. Thats just defensive racing. Props to them both for putting on a show.

Can’t say I raced with Jack but we did race the same off-road series in FL for a long time together, we’re about a year within each other of age. You will be hard pressed to find a more level headed, respectable, and professional young man that races professionally, almost got that Andrew Short type of personality. Valk seems like a Jagoff.

The track is fine, its as good as anywhere in the world, but the infrastructure round there is out of the 70's , the road in is single track for about 2 miles in both directions, and that is our single track, which is as wide as a car and a few feet each side , with solid earth banks .  if you are in anything big , you have to come in from one direction only, and while club have done a load of work there, with a grate start, new fences, and a other stuff, it can cope with the International, but a GP would be too much.

We ran the Livestream off a generator, after issues elsewhere, and when we had a genny issues and plugged into the mains, it killed everything LOL.  Internet and phone signal is non-existant, apart from 10 people who pretend to walk round talking to their mate who is also there.

In 2 weeks , we are at Foxhill for the VMXdN , last year we took 4 hours to get in ..  it will be rammed, not 95 GP rammed, but it will be busy, but you wont get anything in there GP sized if iy rained.

3 weeks later we are at Farleigh, it has a 6ft6in width restriction and 7.5t bridge 100yds from the gate, honestly, as great as it is to ride there, its no longer a GP venue either.

Matterley is mint, entrance for public is off a dual carriageway road, it has tons of parking, loads of hard roadways and is 3 miles off a motorway, meaning all the teams coming from Europe can drive there on main roads right up to the gate.

The track is fantastic, as is the view, campsites are as big as you will ever need, and there are no near neighbours as such, Steve Dixon does a great job with the circuit and landowners and i still think its one of the top tracks in the world to watch racing at.

No Kidding.

I saw a video of the approach road to the facility and thought it wouldn't be hard to convince me that it hadn't changed much since the 19th century.😄

To be fair, you probably arent wrong.

Shropshire, the country the track is in,  is the 3rd least populated county (density wise) in the UK , and my daughter lives there, and its lovely, but its only 45 mins from Birmingham so its not in the middle of nowhere, and its easy enough to get to, provided you arrive early.

I first raced there in 1978, and the layout has barely changed, start is shorter and safer , but apart from  the loop by the finish, and the one under the bridge, its the same.

I did hear that they were doing a big change in the sandpit, back in the day that was almost sheer on the way in, a couple of years ago they drove an ambulance into the bottom of it.

Love the place, but it needs to stay how it is.

Back in the day , it ran 5 races a year tops, New Years Day,  British Championship Round, and the GP every other year, plus 2 center meetings, it was hard to ride there, now you could probably do 6 meetings a year there and still not do them all.

It will always be the spiritual home of MX  in the UK.

I will ride there again next year , i am going to try and ride all the tracks i havent done before, or done for a while , hopefully on my RM465.

I imagine the atmosphere created by the drive to the track and the sense of being well out in the country only adds to the experience - I'd find it relaxing. And doing any track on a Full Floater (especially an Open Class one) is time well spent. 👍

This is what the sport is missing. Real pro talk this was Great. Great ride Jack. Keep it going. Remember the last 125 alll star race ?  I thought Jack was Wyatt from Wi. Jack holeshot & I,m like go Wyatt go. Wyatt was crazy fast exiting corners he worked into the lead , 3 corners from finish he went wide in a weird corner with a big bump b4 it. Wyatt stopped riding 2 yrs ago I think. Living at a training camp burned him out. So I still root for Jack. It’s great he has a ride and gets to travel around the world.

What does that have to do with anything? You trying to say he didn't know what he was saying?  The "I'm Going to Kill You" was pretty clear...either way the poise and class that Chamber's handled the situation with showed maturity beyond his years....it could have easily turned into another moto bitchslap fest that we are so used to seeing in these situations....

Heat of the moment from Valk, he a cracking rider with a bright future, I’m a fan of his. Chambers handled that situation really well, fair play to him. Never got agro, never started shouting and Valk had nowhere to go but calm down. It’s hard to shout and bawl at someone when they aren’t showing aggression back. It’s an easy way to defuse situations and it works 9 times out of 10. Well done Chambers for handling it like that and by the end Valk was on side and realised he was probably being a bit OTT.

Huh that was English.  I,m dealing with all these Ukrainian people from work everyday. They get irritating mostly due to the fact they don’t know how America works.  Like I send u permit on email for trl. U print off . I don’t a printer in the trk & a ts won’t let us send it to them because it crashes they computer system. And a permit usually has a expiration date.  They send fake permits thinking our state police won’t know the difference. And you run Chicago to to Pa. No toll rds. If you can’t afford to drive to the east. You stay out of the east.  I could see the Penn trn  pk numerous times while driving 17 mph pulling hills on back rds. . Or equipment don’t get me started on what belongs on our rds.  I imagine there’s bike setup issues Jack is dealing with.  Like the lack of power  . He’s getting smoked on the starts.  It has to b fun for a young guy traveling to unusual places. Just like living a lot of riders lived in a room at the shop. I could do it but I don’t think most could.
