oh man...the real story of that press release is that Reynolds broke his collar bone...damn.

How many times does this happen where a guy gets his best results of the year, is trending up and then gets an injury?

Lots of weird stuff in that PR. Marchbanks being removed from the team doesn’t sound good. ZO pre race motos didn’t go as expected meaning he was slow and out of shape?

That is the big story and what a bummer for the kid. Thought he was going to make it through 1 season without an injury.

I know but the verbiage of being removed was the interesting part

Cooksey said this nearly two weeks ago.

They should have called Harri Kullas before Osborne anyway.

Or Marshall Weltin. Same bike, easy transition and would save him some money. And it has a chance of top 10

You guys know that's a Vital article, right? Not a press release. The verbiage of Marchbanks being "removed from the team" are the words of Lewis, not Club. Or maybe I'm the one who's mistaken?

Said what?

Marchbanks has only been out at Club for a little over 2 weeks, so Cooksey knew from the very beginning that ZachO wasn't gonna race?

Or did he just make a guess and it turned out to be right?

I guess I just don't see where the "gotcha" is here?

I wanna like this team, but man they are all over the show. I mean I do like them and root for their riders, but is it me or things always seem to go weird there. And then they are transparent (bikes) and then kinda hide things. They look like they have got their shit together, but then it can be a bit of a shambles. Phil is the real hero around that team. I wonder if that’ll end weird too.

I think Kullas had talks with them in the winter, they should have signed him.

I'm a huge Zacho fan, but he's not going to race at the top level again.  Most racers, like Dungey for example, say they always have the speed, they just don't have the conditioning to back it up.  I don't think it's like that for Zach.  He has dropped off of the elite speed...  He might have the conditioning to do it, that's his thing.  Remember his Canada Triple Crown race?  Not good...  He's still good for the sport, just not as a rider.

I'd like to see him replace Roger as MXdN team manager next year.

Club seems to be downsizing going towards next year. I can't imagine the money that has been pumped into that team and facility.

And if you believe what Cooksey said Bar X will be Yamaha supported next year as well. I wonder if Bar X would be West coast and Club East coast next year for Yamaha supported teams ?

None, or very few, of his racing plans have panned out since he retired. He was supposed to be an xc2 guy for ampro yamaha (gncc) and that didn't happen either.

Well, it didn't help that he dislocated his elbow that year.

At least I think that was the injury that he got.

How about Simonson? After they told him to stay ready all summer?

Club's goal is five guys.

BarX will have probably 4-5 250 riders as well and will be Yamaha.

Both teams will race both coasts.

Or the race at Foxhill last year. Yes, it was a vintage race on EVO bikes but he got pretty smoked there by the top guys and did not look like the Zacho of old days.

I get the impression that he needs to ride and work a lot to stay in form and speed. If he made a comback this late in life he would probably be a top 10 guy and battle with the likes of Phil.

Will it be tough to cover 9-10 riders for the 2 teams ? And have you heard if Mumford will race for FirePower ?

Looks like his IG has been deleted.

Seems like Yamaha wants the most bikes on track???

Between the 10 Star riders and then supporting 4 B Teams (Club, BarX, Solitaire, Rock River)
