The sound is the only good thing about 2t's from a spectator's side. Man, that thing is slow.

How do you find this boring?

I may get some dislikes on this one, but man i think James was hands down the best two stroke rider of all time.

No one here has to agree with me on that. James on a 2 stroke specifically is just so fun to watch.

Chase looks like he was having a blast on a stock 125. That’s kinda cool!
I’m always stoked to see these guys having fun.

I see this thread has devolved into the usual madness. Oh, well. It’s the internet. I don’t let the goofs bother me…Especially some dude yapping about Chase not looking smooth or whatever…on a stock 125 that he just threw his leg over…for fun. 🤣

+1. I enjoyed JS way more on a two stroke than a four stroke.

How is a video from 20 years ago of the best 125 rider of all time relevant to Chase riding a 125? 125's were still competitive back then. They are dogs against 250f's in this era of moto.

I see the participation trophy generation has weighed in. Only praise is allowed.

My first reaction to seeing the video, was: Cool, but Chase was struggling to come to grips with it, I'm sure he'd smooth out with some laps, but it was obvious, and I would expect that from a guy that hasn't touched one in years... but God forbid anyone should verbalize those thoughts...

You guys complaining about a simple observation are a bunch of fragile fucking pussies.  Nobody said "Chase sucks".

I see you've made an unpopular comment, but there's a lot of truth in your "only praise allowed" remark.

I thought he looked good on the bike, FWIW.

The terrain’s a little soft. Chase would be more fun to watch on a 250 or 500 2-stroke.

Ummmmm because you said "two strokes, other than the sound are boring to watch as a spectator."

I gave you an example of a clip from what a two stroke can be ridden like when it has a factory rider and setup on it. There hasn't been a Factory two stroke effort since (correct me if I'm wrong) Jeremy McGrath 2006. I can post numerous clips of phenomenal racing done on two strokes, a bike which arguably rewards a more creative and aggressive rider.

Not sure how you can watch these and say "It just sounds good, he's actually going slow." Nah they're hauling ass. No, not as fast as his factory bike that is 200cc's more displacement. But faster than 99.9% of everyone else on the planet, yes.

Jimmy Decotis on a 125 last place start against 250F's top 10 finish. Top 5 finish in moto 1

There’s a few that feel the need to continue to make an ass out of themselves with their posting, it’s a bummer to see

Ken Roczen sx125 mxgp last race 2011

Steve Lamson cr125 Hangtown 2007

Ken’s 125 was a factory ktm, and Steves the last generation of american HRC 125 leftovers, just like MC’s 250.

Mookie looks like a young kid in that lol. Granted, it was a bone stock YZ250. I’m sure his factory Kawi SR250 was faster.

My KTM 125 has more bottom end than my CR125 had top end

Noticed this in the background. Black frame could it be a stock 25 450 someone is using for practice? Maybe a disguised 26 they are testing?IMG 3177 1

Amazing Bubba was able to beat 250fs on those things!

250 fart wagons weren't making 50 horsepower back then. Still impressive though.

hell my 2017 YZ only makes like 39 I think it is. Ridiculously low seems to me.
