Brownie is the Goggins of MX. It’s possible.
Maybe you could coach him up on coping with not qualifying, you should be an expert in the field. As far as advice on how to handle losing a Loretta’s championship by a nearly immeasurable fraction of a second, maybe shut the fuck up.
If that was Deegan you’d be losing your mind
Not sure what information you have to base that claim of off, but no. I’ve at least raced my own dirt bike enough to have some perspective on how that might feel. Meister has probably been heated after a local Vet B moto and he’s going to call Mike Brown a bitch in the glow of his phone from home on his couch. Who’s the entitled little bitch in that scenario?

So classic when dudes try to call people names online lol never comes out right. It ain’t that deep man and you don’t look sick calling someone a whiny little bitch after calling them out for talking shit on there phone
How's he taste?
His episode was a lack of sportsmanship, and while hes physically the toughest old dude out there, that didnt seem to show much mental toughness.
I love all the brownie fan boys. He your buddy or something? Lol
Ive been heated before, but not because of finishing second. Only get heated when people are stupid and cause extra danger. I certainly wouldn't be crying about second at Lorettas. Didnt see Kenny Henry or Reece Wharton skipping outa there because they finished second. He acted as if he should be the only one to get gold when what he shouldve done was congratulate Shorty on a solid effort. Brown called people out last year to come get some.... Well... They listened.. and he melted down because of it.. just calling a spade a spade.. The only thing im entitled to is my own opinion..
Like i already said, i respect him for his abilities and past accomplishments and definitely think he can qualify for a nat.. I just think it was petty af to act the way he did when hes supposed to be a role model in his paid position..
Also for what is mostly a kid and amateur event (use that term loosely), skipping the podium is not a very good look. Shame on you, if you got beat man up and admit it like the animal you are…no shame in that.
There's no defense for throwing a fit and skipping the podium, especially in his position at this stage in his life. It's pathetic. No amount of physical fitness or race wins makes it not pathetic. Major lack of balance in your life if it means that much to you at that age.
Puts a little more perspective on why he runs +50 class. Although if he wasn’t there then Emig would win it by a minute 🤷♂️
I agree man. Brown should have set the example as a respected competitor and representing sponsors etc. He chose to be a sore loser and ride pack to his pit. Not cool.
I'm waiting on Keefer's take on this....with POPCORN....🤣
Has he had controversial opinions on similar matters before? Or do you think he'll defend the actions?
I'm sure he will be diplomatic about it but if his kid did it he would light him up
How I see it as well. A lot of time and effort went into making that KTM look like a Triumph - all in the name of image for his sponsors. ALL of which is overshadowed by acting like an entitled kid.
Nope, I like the shit out of Keefer and think he shoots it straight. Just eager to hear his opinion on this situation about the guy training his kiddo. That's all.
I dig that about keefer too.
The guy spent forever in the 125 class battling kids and then spends forever at Loretta's battling dads and gets upset when he gets beat by a guy who actually attempted (and succeeded in) the premier class.
Are we positive Mitch Payton didn’t sabotage his motor like ‘05
Pit Row
Not sure where the transponders are planted - the white stakes? - but def a close one.
Not trying to defend Brown's actions but I see people saying he had a quick turnaround for his next race? If true, he should have at least passed a note to that effect to the announcers. Not really a fan of ex factory guys hanging around trying to set age records. They should just be given their own separate class and race each other.
Threads like these are the only reason I stay here
For fuck sake...am i the only one who thinks this Lorreta Lyns Vet race stuff is the most OVERHYPED race of the year?
Its manufactured drama.
Cant wait for Unadilla next weekend.
Are people really basing the entirety of a persons character because they lost a championship after leading a whole race in 100 degree temperatures at 52 years old?
Get a grip.
It’s ok to be pissed and go cool down. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to win a championship at LL and feeling pissed, gutted and hot losing one in the last 2 feet warrants a little understanding.
If there was a 65cc rider out there and the same thing happened, I’d understand as well.
So like pro wrestling manufactured???
Sorry, guess missed the social media post were he apologized for his actions after he cooled down and congratulated his competition for a spectacular finish
Great respect for you, but disagree. He should have congratulated Short and thanked his sponsors etc. Kids across the Ranch look up to these guys and that was a poor showing. How about a pro doing that at a National and skipping the podium. That would be ok? Hell no it wouldn't.
More like..bored, eager to find outrage drama.
The obsession you guys have with this stupid race and Mike Brown is bizarre.
The racers pay crazy money to race at this event. If they don’t want to talk with anyone after a race, that shouldn’t be an issue. They aren’t contracted/paid by the promoter to provide entertainment, they pay to race.
As I’ve said before, this is a great example of why the Kardashians are so wealthy. Moto fans have bought into the same sort of ‘entertainment first’ mentality.
Keefer talked about it on his review pod a little. Nothing exciting said.
Some people need a reality check.
Getting a bunch off "championships" after the age age of 20 at an amateur race is an accomplishment???...something worth noting???
Good grief...this is a clear sign of our attention whore society if i ever saw it.
Post a reply to: Mike Brown to attempt National at 52 years old...
