If that's the case 5th gear rapped out and make sure you preload a bunch on the face...Those Curnutt shocks will rebound you at least 70ft--maybe 80-90
That's a CR80. Boudreaux from Thibodeaux will need all six gears to hit that table.

just follow someone that has jumped it before, or work your way up by jumping alittle more each time. the reason most people on here are saying dont jump is because they themselves are afraid of progession. thats why they are all on here and not racing Wink

Personally, the gear I recommend you use:

Arai or Shoei helmet - this will help protect your dome when you miscalculate.
Neck brace - your choice, but Leatt, A-Star, or EVS would be best. No neck rolls
Chest protector - your choice
Tank Top
Shorts
A-Stars Tech 10's

That should do it! Good Luck.

For 70 footers on a 125 I like to be in 3rd gear about 3/4 throttle, then about when I begin to sit down going up the jump face is when I hit the nitrous.

Everyone is different, that's just what works for me.

BTW- Make sure you are wearing your sandles from your avatar pic....when you break your legs the sandles will be much easier to deal with than big stiff riding boots.

Thats funny, the Hawaii to Eatonville connection!

Just make sure to clear the candles when hitting that table top.

well if its over 65 ft your gonna need to install the aftermarket "purple Power band" the purple one is meant for jumping table tops only. make sure you dont jump any doubles with it equipped

AWESOME! You got the helmet so you are at least smart enough to know that.

I would say haul ass up to the jump, get as close to 5th as possible and let it roll. See where you land. If you are short, you know to get on the gas.

Can you hit it straight on? Do you have to hit it from the track? Do a practice run from the side of the track and get a feeling for it.

Most of all. This is paramount. Meaning you absolutely must do this part!

GET IT ON VIDEO and post it on youtube!

3rd gear, half throttle. Before doing so, however, remove your float bowl drain screw, stick a #2 pencil into the main jet & snap the tip off...you'll get awesome low-end.

x2... Best advice of the whole thread right here. Not too many people know about the #2 pencil trick.. That's old school.

Shouldn't be a problem with 70 ft table. Here's an old vid of me doing a 85 ft on a CR125. 4 gear 60 % throttle!

Yeah, I'm slow I know! Smile

There is no need to worry, just pin it and go.

What the fuck was this guy thinking? Well his # is 420 so he probably wasn't thinking. But seriously that's gotta be like 100+ Ft with a 3 ft mound of dirt for the landing. That is one of the most insane things i've seen is a while. I can't believe he got up from the 1st attempt and decided trying it again was a great idea. The 2nd attempt basically looked like one of those circus people getting shot out of a cannon minus the landing net. I seriously couldn't see MC being able to time that well enough to hit the landing.

I think he chose the wrong gear.

That's one of the dumbest things I've seen in a LONG time.

Seriously, I just wonder how anyone can picture that going right in their head? How on earth do you have such little common sense?

WOW!

No, they are so big that when you are done eating them, they leave you feeling bloated and not so good. You really don't want to feel like that when jumping 70'.
