Some of you have never hiked 4.5 miles to sneak in through the underbrush on the back side of the track, and it shows.

😃J/K, don't do that. The promoters aren't making enough money as it is. When you think about it, $75 isn't too bad compared to a football game or a concert.

If you want to be shocked go buy a lift ticket to a Colorado ski resort. 🤑

It's costing more money each year to scrape off the grass that grows naturally so the slot car ruts can form.

I’m sorry, but if you are complaining about a $75 entry fee to watch a full day of racing at a professional level, then you can’t afford it. $75 isn’t asking a whole lot, stay home if you can’t afford it.

Don't whine about $75 (€69). Do you want to know how much it costs to go the the MXGP races?

MXGP Netherlands: Pre-Sale: $95 (€87,50) - On the gate: $98 (€90)
MXGP Belgium: Pre-Sale: $95 (€87,50) - On the gate: $98 (€90)

I'm a 90' kid and we went for 750 to 1000 Belgian Frank to a Grand Prix race in Kester, Lierop, Keiheuvel-Balen, Valkenswaard, Nismen and off course Namur to watch mostly 250cc and 500 world championship races. 750BEF is €18 about $20, 1000BEF is €25 ($27). Making all classes ride together at one track in one weekend and the continues inflation made tickets more expensive year after year. Making that a family with a mom, dad and two or three children on the side of the track is almost unseen these days.

Jeezus...it is $45 for a door dash or pizza delivery or more. Sounds like core mx fans are a dying breed.

Yes but airline flights are cheap. Last minute flights less than $100.00. “Stackem, Rackem,Packem”.

Not sure if you’re joking or not, but those fucking horns have got to go…

If you think $75 is bad go check out some NFL or NBA tickets and feel your head explode.

All these people justifying it need to tell Filthy that he’s full of 💩. He put it in perspective, paying $75 to stand around in a field with no shade is BS. If it was for the shaded VIP areas with seating and flush toilets sure. But to pay that much to have to stand and use full porta John’s is a bit much…

$30 in 2006 is worth $47 today.  Yet people are thrilled with $75 (plus fees if you buy online).

Go to a football game. That’s expensive, and then see how close to the action you can get. And when you do get close to the action at a football game, compare the prices again.

I just paid $600 for the entire season at Loveland.

That's the highest ive ever paid for a season pass. Epic and icon are around a thousand bucks nowadays.

The fact that people know exactly how absurd the pricing is for some of these elective things means they're paying it. We have no clue how much the movies cost because we haven't been in years. Stop paying it so that the prices come down. The only thing worse than inflation are insatiable consumers that just can't stop gobbling everything up like their mouth is six foot wide. It's precious to have money and then complain about the prices of what you buy, but please stop paying it so that the prices can correct and then the rest of us broke-dicks can start to afford it again. Stop feeding the very problem you're whining about.

The thing that irks me the most is how the pit passes are broke up into two parts of the day, unless you buy the expensive all day passes. The pits should be open for free, atleast for part of the day. What is the average price of a supercross ticket there days in comparison to a national?

^^ That $15 ticket in 1985 equates to about $43 today.  Very similar to that 2006 ticket we ran the math on.  Yet here we are at $75 plus fees.

Also of note is the advance sale ticket was cheaper than at the gate.  Today you have the privilege of purchasing online in advance for an upcharge.

Thats a deal! I still want to get better at snowboarding so i can enjoy the slopes more. So far ive only been to lee canyon (here in las vegas) and Monarch Mountain down in solida co.

This coming fall/winter i will be back up in the springs and make a trip to keystone and maybe Breck. (I dont know much of anything about loveland, but ive heard of it)

Last time i went to a race was Unadilla a couple years ago. My wife and i were walking along the fence next to the road and some guy in a KTM race shirt asked us as we were walking by if we wanted 2 free tickets .They didn't have a face value and I never looked at the gate fee when we got there. I know ,cool story...I'll see myself out.

I like copper mountain and Keystone,  A few years ago I had a season pass to Copper and went snowboarding every monday and really had a good time and the crowds were not like on the weekends so I had lots of room to learn. Keystone is great also because I would take the gondola to the top and schoolmarm to the bottom because its not steep and plenty wide. 😎

You want to know what's really expensive ? For my two sons we wrote a check to the University of Colorado for $34k last January and will write a similar amount here again in August. 😝😭

Nope not joking. Little kid had a dewalt one last year inside the area at the start. Must’ve been a track workers or a VIP’s kid. He wasn’t even watching and didn’t care about the race, just hitting the button and laughing. I really wanted to see him fall in the pond.

Universities in the USA are, uhm crazy if you look at the price-tag. For most people only accessible if they can get a scholarship, to be honest keeping smart people away from universities because they don't have enough funds isn't a good base to build a society.

That's insane.

My tuition for FSU in 1978 was $675...for the year.  $15 per credit hour on quarters.  Adjusted for inflation that would be $3200 today.  Which it isn't...

That was before Carter created the Department of Education in 1980.🙄

I can remember spending hours sitting in the Honda pits chatting with Skip Norfolk on raceday (when he had time) when The King was king.

The additional cost for this exclusive pass was a jaw-dropping... nothing. Adjusted for today's dollars the cost would be... nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

I can't say I've enjoyed or appreciated the NASCARization of pro MX.
