Super interesting. Is Travis still affiliated in the sport or did he have a stash of parts to build this?
Doesn’t he work at triumph for swoll? Seems like these parts got the 5 finger discount then enough were obtained to build a bike
I definitely don't think we should assume he or anyone stole anything, but would be super cool if they were legit parts. Once the new year comes, the old parts are useless to the Team, so maybe they just let him have them.
Message him and ask him instead of calling him a thief on here

I no have reason to think that this bike is anything but legit. This thread reminded me of this Simpson's episode though. (Edit:"no")
Yes, I'm sure a guy who's well known inside the industry would steal parts from his previous employer and then advertise the bike he built with those parts on Facebook Marketplace... Where do you people come up with this shit?
Its a replica bike, right? He's not claiming its the actual bike. And I'm sure it's pretty pricey.
100% ^^^ this. Where on this green earth do people come up with this shit. Think people!
What's your reason then?
To check it's authenticity, see if its got a kickstarter, if it has its a fake.
I saw Kenny with the kickstart in his hand up on the podium.
🤡
Who gives a shit, he is openly advertising it so if he got some parts under the table then he will have some questions to answer. Everyone stirring shit is just jealous they will never get it
Suzukis look so cool with the yellow/gold rims.
Tyler, if he's still around, needs to see this.
THere is member here that has quite a few Factory RmZ parts. Probably enough to build a full bike. Not sure who he can sell too, but if i had a RMZ, i would be calling him!
The "no VIN" sounds very suspicious..
I don't recall ever hearing about teams grinding off the vin on one of their bikes.
A lot of times factory-supplied bikes (and race cars for that matter) will not have a VIN. So I'm guessing in this case it wasn't ground off, it just never had one.
Pit Row
The RM250AF I have has a frame from JGR with no VIN. Cool bike!
No one grinds off the VIN you moran, new frames don't have a VIN stamped on them.
wtf is with you guys? Just zero to 100 every time. I stated my simple opinion...
*And if you're going to insult me, spell moron correctly....MORON.
Some of them Wheelie Boys are probably grinding off their VIN's.... (:
"simple" and "opinion" are the only two things you got correct. You don't even know the Vital spelling is moran but i'm not surprised after seeing most stuff you post is wrong.😆
Cool bike can you tell me more about the build process?
I doubt they even bother, a ground off VIN gets it impounded just as quick as being stolen. 😉
"Moran" is the proper spelling here on Vital. 😉
Your detractors are correct about the frames, also; many race bikes do not have VINs, because the frame itself is a replaceable part. It does not come with a VIN because it is not a complete vehicle. You're wise to raise an eyebrow, however, because the USA requires all non-VIN vehicles to be returned to Japan or crushed after use.
It's my guess that the team had a bunch of leftover parts and Travis built up a spare bike as a parts bin. When the season ended, somebody said, "These parts are already written off - just lose 'em." It didn't matter that they were assembled into a motorcycle.
I think I talked to you at the Suzuki ride day at Perris last year. Your bike is righteous. 😇
You really are a lost boy. Found your profile pic..
