No more vibration than my Ktm 250. Also, much less engine brake compared to the 250 (which has a TD vortex.)
Maybe that’s a move. I will look into it!
Definitely much more vibration than previous generation. I feel it more so in the foot pegs than the bars though

I didn’t feel a thing. You guys are keefer level feeling the -2ft lbs on the clutch perch bolts freeing up the chassis.
There's a cure - take a ride on YZ490 and they'll think they're on an electric hoveround!
Rev it past 9k in 3rd gear and you will feel it in the pegs, he asked to compare to the old chassis.
You just called me slow in the most technical way possible!! That’s too funny.
it could be I don’t rev it enough or it could be that I’m as sensitive as a sledge hammer to these things lol
I honestly dont feel any vibration in this bike. Nothing that stands out compared to my previous 2019 and 2020.
And i read about the vibrations before first ride but i haven't noticed any
Have you noticed any less vibration? My left hand is gong numb, causing arm pump. Never was a thing before this bike.
Have to get rid of the lock on grips. Makes it worse.
I’ll be honest, I never really noticed the vibration to begin with, so I probably can’t help you. The bike has an overall cushier feel with the optional engine hangers installed, but I can’t speak to whether or not it reduced vibration.
Has anyone had Race Tech or an authorized Race Tech center revalve their 2024? After this past weekend, I think I need to break down any pay for a revalve, and I liked how my last KX forks worked that I had revalved by RT.
TZR has done my bike for years, we went way heavier on my fork springs this time to help keep it up ( had to special order them lol )
This is possibly the best suspension I have ever had saying that, combines with the chassis, etc. thing is sick.
SO if need a revalve I highly suggest TZR, all of us that ride together with new Kawis all have TZR and all of our bikes are sick.
I feel the same way about my bike. I had the same guy do my 22 and 24 and I like the suspension on the 24 much better. Pretty sure it's the chassis making the suspension feel better.
Just had total control in NC do mine. Lighter valving in shock and stiffer fork springs. The bike is great!
That's who did mine.
I really wish one of the suspension companies came out to the tracks in my area to help with setup. I’m really tall (and not very talented), so I have yet to find a suspension company that could nail a setting for me on the first try. Back in the day when I lived in SoCal, I had Factory Connection set up my bike. After the first time they did it, I told them it was way too soft. They told me to come out and meet them at GH. They watched me ride for a bit, then revalved it on the spot. I miss having that kind of help, and I’m nervous about having someone who has never seen me ride try to set a bike up for me.

I just ordered the full Ride JBI dyi kit. Im on stock suspension now. As a 40a rider on mostly hardpack choppy conditions Im looking for more small bump compliance and bottoming resistance. Had a nice talk with JB yesterday so hopefully it ships soon and i can get you a ride report.
Let us know what you think. For the conditions you ride in, I think you’d like the softer accessory engine hangers.
This is exactly the feel I’m searching for. Saving up the coin to have REP do mine - I live 5 mins down the road from them. Haven’t ridden the engine hangers yet but I’m curious to see how they help the chassis feel
If I'm still searching for a little more compliance after the JBI install I may check them out. Absolutely love this bike and cant wait to dial it in just a little bit more.
The bike is unreal stock. But it keeps getting better with massaging. This is one that I think I may grow old with…
I felt like I had the same problem initially, but the stiffer I went with clickers and oil, the fork felt more plush.
How many ml of oil are you running? I have an optional stiffer spring in one fork leg and am running 370ml of oil. It never bottoms now, which makes me wonder if my oil level might be too high.
Not much more. I have 450x and when 20ml more in each leg and that gave me the info I needed to tell my tuner.
Same here. Looking forward to getting everything setup.
I went with JBI and couldn’t be happier
Damn, I am getting pumped on JBI! Can't wait to try it.
I got rid of them instantly. Not a fan.
