I usually don’t…won’t…participate in these weekly “TV Crew Beatings”…but, some of this stuff is getting really old.
Mea culpa
The “straight live feed” during the commercials was pure bliss. The drone coverage this week was stellar. The drone pilot deserves a good ice cold beer.
Another thing, when is someone from the TV production management team gonna explain why they got rid of the most literate and “well spoken” member of the cast?
I know we talk a lot of shit about Will and her "I talked to so and so" but did anyone notice that it was EVERY time this time? Literally every time they sent it to her she had to throw the " I talked to so and so" line out there. Which also means if she is talking past tense that means they arent talking about anything happening CURRENTLY on the track. A lot of this has been talking shit and hoping they read it but i want to make this more personal, Will, if you read this, please shut the fuck up unless you have something current to say or it has something to do with what im watching on my screen. Your constant mid week stories have nothing to do with live racing and if thats all you have to bring to the table please take your "talents" somewhere else.
RC - Dude we are sick of you. You were my hero as a kid. But its gotten so bad that this is making me not like you. You are literally ruining my joy of watching the sport and bring zero excitement. I dont know about you but ive never in my life sat in traffic with a 180 heart rate trying to make a light with someone "coming up my rear" You are fucking embarrassing.
I dont know about all of you but waiting a week (sometimes longer), reading the aritcles and interviews building up the hype. Waking up excited its race day and then have to go all day with a mixed bag of emotions because the broadcast is so terrible. This is not some isolated problem with a small group of people. Facebook, Instagram, vital.. the disgust is everywhere with this broadcast team. We have all said who is best. We have all seen who is best. Why is the best not getting the job? Why do we keep getting shit forced down our throats.
The whole screen replay of the holeshot during the moto is inexcusable. We aren’t asking for much haha, small changes lead to big ones over time. This is an easy one to fix. Save it for the race recap!

I think the angle used to be better when the Leap went to the turn before the finish line. The camera was over by the corner so it was more head-on with the landing. I think they should just move it back to that spot if possible.

I was thinking the same thing. Do a wide shot and you can see who is jumping it and who isn’t. One of the most iconic jumps on the circuit and you can barely tell what a massive jump it really is.
Who/what is Bondo and why are we mad at him/it?
The thing I liked about AC was that he didn't do a single 'background story' during the whole broadcast. All his comments were just on the race going on. JT's comments are also the same. We don't need Will's inane ramblings about what color panties so and so rider wore during the week.
Not sure if it was mentioned already, but Vialle's crash in moto 1 followed immediately by replays of every crash he has had of the season.
Also...when Ricky first came to the booth I was pretty chuffed. I always thought give him a chance he will get better...I think yesterday he was possibly at his worst ever. There was one point where he was stuck in an "inside outside" seizure.

Wow, lol. RC insinuating he's an "expert" in broadcasting is hilarious. The only reason he has any announcing gig is because of his racing career, which he doesn't even use effectively when announcing. Dude would be laughed out of any audition if he was a normal applicant.
Sounds like a defensive man who is losing a job to someone better for the first time in his life and is struggling to accept it.
He's the TV producer of SX/MX, or some might say the ringleader of this terrible production. It'll stay bad as long as he's in the production trailer.

Was thinking more about this Will situation. When was the last time we had a "I'm here with" interview and not a "I talked to" segment.
If you look at the MXGP broadcast with Lisa, it doesn't matter if its a top 5 guy or a 15th place guy, if they have an issue or a crash she's either got the rider or a team member for an interview within minutes on what's going on. She is constantly talking to team managers during the race to get insight on the racing CURRENTLY happening. Will literally brings non of this information to light and isn't that the job of the "pit reporter"? why are we waiting to ask ML or Mav on Vital to give us an update days later? do your damn job Bondo/Will and actually report on current events.

My wife said the exact same thing after watching that moto. Why do they need her during the race.? It’s 1 too many. She should do her diatribes pre or halftime.
