Been to many Nationals and always prepaid - but this time we plan on paying when we get there (due to unknown Number of who will or wont show up in the morning) - do they ever sell out ?
Don't want to drive 7+ hours and told no-go....
Thanks in advance
I’m doing the same thing. I think it’s 75 a ticket but I’m pretty sure they will not sell out.
they do not sell out. get there early for parking
Never heard of them selling out...they hosted mxon with A LOT.of peeps...
Load up the cooler, grab the Coleman grill, some lawn chairs.........hit the road!!! Last minute needs are easy to snag as there is a Dollar General every 8 blocks in the US now for all your quick shitting, shaving, and bathing demands.....they also sell Tylenol for the early morning headaches that may suddenly appear from "over exposure". Grab the credit card, fill up the tank, and floor it...... Wish I could go, nothing beats a sudden road trip to see Moto. Happy 4th!!! Be safe, apologize later to whoever you may piss off..... HAVE FUN!!!!!!

The weather is Very mild in Saginaw,Mi. North & east of the track. Indy had rain this mornin 250 mi up. Mi was ovr cast with very light rain. I was just in Sikeston & KC Mo. that was Hot Mi. Is not. You might want to exit off i57 @ x 283 iL route 24 east. To Indiana route 421 north to in. Rt 6& 20 east towards s. Bend to in. Rt 31 north. To near the track. You could go 421 to toll rd but too many dumb azzes hop on i80,90 not knowing they need ez pass. Plus stick to the man, no tolls. Just b carefull if the corn is high on the back rds . If the stop sign is gone and a lot people miss the caution stop ahead . And run rt into a grain trk. Indiana corn gets real high , it’s like you’re in a maze. Freaks some people out.
I saw camping is sold out , but they opened the fairgrounds 8 miles away for camping.
Also I saw on Rupert's Instagram that he's in the hospital, so someone needs to pickup the slack and get good pictures.
its gonna be a hot humid weekend. plan accordingly
Naw compared to 400 mi south it’s Very comfortable. I just went for a walk in Saginaw Mi. It’s Real nice out. Reason I routed the op is because. He would run i57 into 80/94 eventually. It’s usually a parking lot until u get past i65. From O’Hara airport i294 is under construction further s. They hv split lanes get in the far left & hope no one crashes. Traffic is much worse north bound on i294 , keep that in mind. Going home
Actually the weather for the 6th looks perfect. 75 and partly cloudy.
All this, but instead of apologizing, just yell a”REEEEDDDDD BUDDDD!!!!” right in their face. It’s actually the preferred method and most accepted response on race day.
Yeah if this forecast holds it's the best forecast in years. There's a big bump on on Sunday, but tomorrow is looking perfect for the fans and riders, along with a nice breeze:
Why do people buy the online tickets? The online ticket line to get in every National I go to is always a mile long. I walk right up to cash sales and get right in. They never sell out
Also thinking about going last minute, can you park a truck/travel trailer in general parking just for Saturday? We are on way home from road trip and have the camper with us already.
At what time should I be there in the morning? I have a pit pass so I thought about 8-8:30am to have time to walk around.
it‘s my first national
Call Red Bud and ask them where you might be able to park.
Get there by 8 or earlier. You will be glad you did
High of 78
Tickets are no problem but the pit passes are sold out.
Post a reply to: last minute idea - going to Red Bud
