It’s been three years since my dad aka Newmann passed not going to tell you it gets easier but the memories of us racing/riding together always leave me with a smile!

One year for the local EVO mx series Newmann sponsored a 125 class(only 74 125’s allowed) he threw money and bikes at it for people and this class was sometimes the biggest and most watched raced of the day, 90% of the time it was just me and him out front, which lead to so many clean out attempts!  I ended up winning the class for the season and it poised him off to no end!  
 

The rides home after the races and the massive amount of sh!t talk between us after motos will never be the same.

My condolences. I lost my dad in January.

He wasn't into Moto, but he holds B.A.S.E. jumper certificate #1.  I got my need for adrenaline from him.

I tell people, and try to live by this:

To be grateful for the good things and times we have in life, instead of being upset about what we miss out on.

I pray comfort for you and your family, and the others on here that lost their dads as well.

The screaming sound of a 85 or 125 absolutely pegged wide open screams moto to me. The deep powerful growl of a 250 2 Stroke blasting a berm screams moto to me.  That beautiful smell of 2 stroke oil/fuel that would welcome me at the entrance to the track back in the 90's/early 00's screams moto to me.

On the flip side....moto and arm pump seem to go together all to well lol.
