And yet got second overall, and let that Kid gain 5 points on him.
Same thoughts exactly...
Yep its probably a separation grade 2-3 that’s borderline surgery/non-surgery. Not a couple weeks rest. So its a sure battle to the title for 3. Unfortunately for Jett it brings him back to everyone on a rough track it seems. Redbud will be same again i feel.
Sexton know what shape Jett is in and had Jett been at a 100% we would probably have seen a larger celebration from Sexton.
But Chase knows that he passed a Jett in limpmode so i doubt that this made Chase any mentally stronger than what he all ready were.

Chase finally is able to beat Jett once after several years, and many motos of trying, both indoors and out. As far as I can see every once in a while a blind squirrel finds a nut, Chase has to beat him more than once to prove anything.
Ezra Lusk?
Robbie Reynard?
Kevin Windham?
Guys who were fast on certain days. Unbeatable, even.
I mean, Chase closes a gap of nearly 10 seconds on Jett over halfway through moto 2 and then wins by more than 8.5 seconds. To have the speed of more than 18 seconds in the latter half of that moto is a statement to how Chase felt and clearly Jett was smoked by that amount of time. Maybe it doesn't qualify as a statement ride, but it certainly does as damage control as he made up lost points from the first moto.
I'd wager it's definitely a fitness issue. First moto, when he was fresh, I saw him doing so many small things nobody else was. I don't know what the broadcast said the gap was, but he put it on them. Blew his load first moto though, it seems
This should have been Chases third moto 2 win in a row. He is a bigger competitor to himself than Jett.
Right. We were all saying yesterday in the 2nd moto, ok when does he crash? Chase keeps us fans guessing
Can't win them all and as the years roll on we'll remember that undefeated season. It will be an outlier statistically speaking. He's on top of the world.
Hopefully we can look forward to many years of Haiden vs Jett battles. Barcia proved you can't ride a 250 like a 450, so as long as he makes that adjustment it will be fantastic.
Sexton goes 1-1 at redbud and takes the points lead
Fan of Sexton and a fan of Hunter over Jett. But I respect Jett and it is clear the shoulder has more going on than we are being told.
If that is the case, Chase is making WAY too many little mistakes to win the title. He should be going 1-1 and trying to pass his lead. When he is on and stays off the ground he is amazing to watch. But his off days are drastically worse than Jett’s off days.
Great motos at Southwick and it goes to show that just because a certain sand track is deeper. It doesn’t make it more difficult. Those lads were smoked (unless your Chase and Deegan). That’s why The Wick should stay on the schedule. Love it.
Last year two "foreigners" had the nerve to spoil our Independence Day festivities. Add Hunter to the mix and it will be tough.

How many of them have a 450 SX title
Chase needs to figure his 1st motos out if we wants more OA’s
Barcia has done just fine on a 450. 10 wins and a shitload of podiums indoors and out prove that. Poor example.
Chase was like a man among boys during the last ten minutes of moto 2.
It remains to be seen if this continues, but I'm guessing that the top three will battle until the end.
Pit Row
10 wins in twelve years after winning back to back Championships in the 250 SX class is a grrrrreat example 🐯
This 100%. Chase isn't capitalizing right now how he should be. Thunder Valley was terrible. Threw away 2nd moto at High Point. A 3rd first moto yesterday. When you see his 2nd moto beat down he have everyone, it's so frustrating as a Chase fan. I guess I'm wrong to feel like he should beat Hunter every moto. Humter is better than I thought he would be
He won two regional titles and in his 250MX career he won three races and only had 12 additional podiums. On a 450 he won 10 races and has had over 60 podiums indoors and out. He won his first 450 race in 2013 and his last in 2023. He has had a great career. He was never a 450 champion but he’s beat all the champions on his day. His style has made him millions of dollars and kept him on a factory team for nearly his entire career. RC was aggressive, Tomac is aggressive. Plenty of guys win being aggressive.
He raced a 450 alot longer than a 250 so the numbers of course are greater. He's had a nice career, I'd hope he'd be the first to tell you he should've won some 450 championships. That 450 class has swallowed up a whole lot of 250 stars. Ain't no shame in that.
He had the misfortune to come up in the era of the Ryan's. Not a lot of titles to go around when you have to race not just one, but two of the all time greats
So he finished 3rd every moto?
He’s only a year older than Tomac. But then again, going against 2nd all time in SX wins is tough
You were proven horribly wrong by insinuating that Barcia is an example of what goes wrong about riding a 250 like a 450. I took you to school and now you see this as your way out? Take your loss and move on.
Maybe I misheard it, but I though Jett said he was using his legs more to compensate for his injured shoulder?
Too bad for sexton. He would be cleaning up if it werent for jett.
Not trying to win the internet just sharing my opinion teacher.
Lol, you and Jett have the same level of math skills 😂 Jett only gained 2 points on Chase this weekend
